Basidiobolus ranarum is an uncommon subcutaneous zygomycosis mostly found in immunocompetent children in tropical countries. Presence of slow growing non-tender, non-inflammatory, subcutaneous swelling that does not spread beyond the subcutaneous tissue are classic clinical features.
