Background And Objectives: Nanosilver sodium fluoride (NSF) has recently gained popularity in dentistry as an alternative to silver diamine fluoride (SDF) due to its drawbacks of staining the tooth black and possibly causing soft tissue injury, which has been eliminated in NSF due to the nanoparticle size of silver. This study aims to assess the microtensile bond strength of glass ionomer cement (GIC) and resin-modified glass ionomer cement (RMGIC) with pretreatment of NSF on extracted primary carious teeth.

Materials And Methods: Teeth were stored in 10% formalin.

Introduction  The risk of inflammatory bowel disease-associated colorectal cancer (IBD-CRC) is known to increase with primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC) and a family history of CRC. However, the impact of comorbidities such as liver disease, obesity, diabetes, chronic lung, heart, and renal disease, and psychiatric illness on the risk of IBD-CRC remains unclear. We evaluated the effect of these comorbidities on the risk of IBD-CRC.

Rice is an important staple crop and fungal blast disease destroys about 10-30% of its global produce, annually. Although genetic manipulation has largely been employed in crop-improvement programmes and agricultural biotechnology, the ease of transformation of several recalcitrant cultivars continues to be a challenge. HR-12 and CO-39 are two cultivars that are commonly used in breeding programmes, but are susceptible to biotic threats like fungal blast and sheath blight disease.

Endoscopic cystogastrostomy using lumen-apposing metal stent (LAMS) is considered the first-line therapy for symptomatic pancreatic fluid collections (PFCs). Routine coaxial placement of a double-pigtail stent (DPS) through LAMS is debated. We report the case of a patient with delayed massive gastrointestinal bleed eight weeks after LAMS placement due to splenic artery pseudoaneurysm leading to a complicated hospitalization.

Aims And Objectives: Proximal contacts and their interdigitation through occlusal contact with opposing teeth play a major role in children, for the eruption of permanent teeth into normal position. Determining the ideal matrix band system for proximal restorations helps in the construction of contacts and contours. This study is designed to determine the most suitable matrix band system for proximal restorations.

Gastrointestinal bleeding (GIB) is a common cause of hospitalization and is associated with significant morbidity and mortality. The most frequent causes of nonvariceal upper GIB are peptic ulcers, mucosal erosions, Mallory-Weiss tears, and malignancy. Current endoscopic hemostatic methods, including injections, thermal and mechanical modalities, have a 5%-10% chance of recurrent bleeding.
