Assessment of pain and maternal complications after normal vaginal delivery.

Management of postpartum perineal pain is essential because untreated pain can interfere with the motherhood experience and might result in various complications. The study aimed to assess postpartum perineal and postpartum pain intensity, pharmacological management and maternal complications after normal vaginal delivery. A prospective observational study was conducted in Obstetrics and Gynaecology among 300 women who underwent normal vaginal delivery.
