In the current work, an innovative nondominated sorting colliding bodies optimization (NSCBO) technique is introduced to tackle multiobjective optimal power flow (MOOPF) challenges within electrical power networks. This method offers a means to generate a diverse array of nondominated solutions in a single iteration by including the nondominated (ND) sorting process and the concept of crowding distance. Additionally, it utilizes a spread indicator to archive the latest nondominated solutions.

  • Epithelioid trophoblastic tumors are rare cancers that typically affect the uterus and endocervix in women, emerging from specific trophoblasts, and are very uncommon in men, often found at metastatic sites.* -
  • Distinguishing these tumors from similar conditions, like placental site trophoblastic tumor and squamous cell carcinoma, is crucial, relying on unique morphological and immunohistochemical features.* -
  • This report discusses a rare case of a primary testicular epithelioid trophoblastic tumor in a young man, marking it as the third documented male case and the first case with this tumor as the main histological type in a testicular germ cell tumor.*

Integration of renewable energy sources (RES) to the grid in today's electrical system is being encouraged to meet the increase in demand of electrical power and also overcome the environmental related problems by reducing the usage of fossil fuels. Power Quality (PQ) is a critical problem that could have an effect on utilities and consumers. PQ issues in the modern electric power system were turned on by a linkage of RES, smart grid technologies and widespread usage of power electronics equipment.

Article Synopsis
  • Asthma and COPD are linked to chronic airway inflammation, and incorrect inhalation techniques can lead to poor disease management, prompting a study to evaluate the effectiveness of training patients in proper inhalation methods.
  • The study involved 132 participants, who underwent inhalation technique training at the start, and again at 1 and 6 months, with evaluations showing significant improvements in scores for metered-dose inhalers (MDIs) and dry powdered inhalers (DPIs) post-training.
  • Results indicated that while MDI users showed marked improvement in inhalation technique scores over time, DPI users experienced initial improvement but no significant change after 6 months, highlighting the positive impact of education and reinforcement on inhalation practices.
