Unlabelled: Ameloblastoma is a non-cancerous but aggressive oral tumor emerging from odontogenic epithelial tissue involved during odontogenesis. Since there is lack in unravelling the complete molecular pathogenesis of ameloblastoma, chemotherapy is less attempted and a lot of disagreement over the optimal treatment option. Hence, till date, wide surgical resection is considered to be the reliable treatment for ameloblastoma.

Methods: The study population comprised of 75 subjects visiting the outpatient department of our institution, divided into three different groups, group 1 (obese diabetic), group 2 (non-obese diabetic), and group 3 (obese, non-diabetic). Diabetic status was assessed with HbA1c values and obesity status was assessed by body mass index (BMI) score greater than or equal to 30 kg/m.
Aim: To study the expression of Epithelial Glycoprotein (EGP40) in various grades of Oral Epithelial Dysplasia namely mild, moderate and severe epithelial dysplasia and in various grades of Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma (OSCC) namely well, moderate & in poorly differentiated squamous cell carcinoma.
Material And Methods: This laboratory study comprised of 47 samples in which 27 samples were of three different grades of OSCC, Well (n=10), Moderate (n=10) and Poorly differentiated (n=7) and remaining 20 samples were of three different grades of dysplasia [Mild (n=7), Moderate (n=8), Severe dysplasia (n=5)]. All the 47 cases were subjected to immunohistochemical staining to evaluate the expression of EGP40.
Background: Xylene is an aromatic hydrocarbon that is routinely used in histopathological laboratories. It is biohazardous and produces many toxic effects like carcinogenesis. A safer substitute for xylene is necessary to minimize its usage.

Recently, computer-assisted morphometric analysis has been established to reduce the interobserver and intraobserver variability during the histological grading of epithelial dysplasia.

Methods: Smears were obtained from clinically normal buccal mucosa of 20 randomly selected asthmatic patients who had been under inhalational therapy for at least 6 months.
One of the primary tasks of systematic biology is the development of our biological nomenclature and classifications. The key purpose for the development of a standard nomenclature for a disease is the need for a common language for the statement of diagnostic terms and for a means or system whereby diagnosis could be suitably recorded without chaos. Odontogenic tumor nomenclature and classification have confused physicians over the years.

Malignant lesions metastasizing to the oral and perioral region are a rarity indeed. Malignant lesions could metastasize to both soft tissue of oral cavity and the hard tissues of the jaws and recent meta-analysis showed that metastasis is more common in the jaws than oral soft tissues because of rich vascular supply.

A simple, reliable, and efficacious method always finds a way for easier acceptance and inclusion in any discipline. Likewise, identification of an individual using the radiographic frontal sinus patterns is a simple technique which emphasized to conduct the study with a proven result.

Recently improvised molecular techniques helped researchers to unravel the myth behind such biologic behaviour. Though interesting findings have been delivered, the rhythmic correlation regarding the exact mechanism still remains lacking.
