Background: Emergency/trauma radiology artificial intelligence (AI) is maturing along all stages of technology readiness, with research and development (R&D) ranging from data curation and algorithm development to post-market monitoring and retraining.
Purpose: To develop an expert consensus document on best research practices and methodological priorities for emergency/trauma radiology AI.
Methods: A Delphi consensus exercise was conducted by the ASER AI/ML expert panel between 2022-2024.
This is a case of a 70-year-old female with small bowel evisceration through vaginal cuff dehiscence 14 months after hysterectomy. She presented with a loop of ileum herniated through the vagina. Industrial facilities and other sources can emit air pollutants from fugitive leaks, process malfunctions and area sources that can be difficult to understand and to manage. Materials And Methods: With institutional review board approval, informed consent waiver, and HIPAA compliance, a prospective observational study of 28 078 patients who underwent intravenous gadoteridol-enhanced MR imaging from July 2007 to December 2009 was performed. Reactions were recorded by technologists who noted types of reactions, method of injection, and treatment.
Purpose: Midline sternotomy remains the preferred technique for access in cardiac surgery. Application of steel wires has been the preferred method of closure. Because of associated complications, such as superficial and deep infections, as well as bony nonunion complications, an alternative technique is being proposed.

Wildland fire control chemicals are released into the environment by aerial and ground applications to manage rangeland, grassland, and forest fires. Acute oral 24h median lethal dosages (LD50) for three fire retardants (Fire-Trol GTS-R, Phos-Chek D-75F, and Fire-Trol LCG-R) and two Class A fire suppressant foams (Silv-Ex and Phos-Chek WD881) were estimated for northern bobwhites, Colinus virginianus, American kestrels, Falco sparverius, and red-winged blackbirds, Agelaius phoeniceus. The increase of n-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) in animal tissues has been proposed as a mechanism of lead (Pb) poisoning through lipid peroxidation or altered eicosanoids metabolism. We have studied fatty acid (FA) composition in liver and brain of mallards (Anas platyrhynchos) feeding for 3 weeks on diets containing combinations of low or high levels of vitamin E (20 or 200 UI/kg) and Pb (0 or 2 g/kg).
