Motivation: Bulk RNA expression data are widely accessible, whereas single-cell data are relatively scarce in comparison. However, single-cell data offer profound insights into the cellular composition of tissues and cell type-specific gene regulation, both of which remain hidden in bulk expression analysis.

Results: Here, we present tissueResolver, an algorithm designed to extract single-cell information from bulk data, enabling us to attribute expression changes to individual cell types.

Motivation: Metastasis formation is a hallmark of cancer lethality. Yet, metastases are generally unobservable during their early stages of dissemination and spread to distant organs. Genomic datasets of matched primary tumors and metastases may offer insights into the underpinnings and the dynamics of metastasis formation.

Immunological diseases are typically heterogeneous in clinical presentation, severity and response to therapy. Biomarkers of immune diseases often reflect this variability, especially compared to their regulated behaviour in health. This leads to a common difficulty that frustrates biomarker discovery and interpretation - namely, unequal dispersion of immune disease biomarker expression between patient classes necessarily limits a biomarker's informative range.

The main objective of the present study was to evaluate an intervention for improving guideline-based dementia care in primary care.

Gene expression and copy number profiling of follicular lymphoma biopsies from patients treated with first-line rituximab without chemotherapy.

The Nordic Lymphoma Study Group has performed two randomized clinical trials with chemotherapy-free first-line treatment (rituximab +/- interferon) in follicular lymphoma (FL), with 73% of patients alive and 38% without any need of chemotherapy after 10.6 years median follow-up. In order to identify predictive markers, that may also serve as therapeutic targets, gene expression- and copy number profiles were obtained from 97 FL patients using whole genome microarrays.

Background: As global positioning system (GPS) measurement is getting more precise and affordable, health researchers can now objectively measure mobility using GPS sensors. Available systems, however, often lack data security and means of adaptation and often rely on a permanent internet connection.

Objective: To overcome these issues, we aimed to develop and test an easy-to-use, easy-to-adapt, and offline working app using smartphone sensors (GPS and accelerometry) for the quantification of mobility parameters.
