Objective: The study focused on assessing the potential neurocognitive and social developmental issues in children with non-syndromic craniosynostosis (NSC) who received optimal surgical treatment. The primary objective was to determine whether NSC, even after optimal surgical treatment, could have negative effects on brain development.

Methods: The study included a total of 73 pediatric patients aged between 2 and 6 years who had previously undergone surgery for NSC at the Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Neurosurgery.

Objective: In this study, we aimed to evaluate quality of life and parental attitudes in children who underwent an atrial septal defect closure procedure with a transcatheter or surgical method in childhood and whether they continued their lives with similar activities to their healthy peers by comparing the two groups.

Methods: Patient forms to define sociodemographic and clinical features, the Questionnaire for Measuring Health-Related Quality of Life in Children and Adolescents (KINDL) to measure the quality of life of children, and the Parent-Child Relationship Test (Parental Attitude Research Instrument) to measure parental attitudes were used.

Results: The groups were similar in terms of age and sex.

Objectives: Alexithymia and low health literacy are the barriers of self-management. This study aims to examine the relationship between alexithymia, health literacy and diet quality in obese adolescents, and their effects on anthropometric and biochemical markers.

Methods: The 20-item Toronto alexithymia scale (TAS-20) was used to determine the alexithymic traits of the adolescents, and "The Newest Vital Sign" (NVS) scales were used to determine their health literacy levels.

We aim to evaluate the anxiety levels of caregivers of children with tracheostomy during the COVID-19 (coronavirus disease 2019) pandemic. Caregivers of 31 children with tracheostomy and 105 healthy children (control group) were included.
