Background: Pediatric dentists face significant challenges when treating a child with anodontia. Early intervention is essential to ensure the normal physiological and psychological development while also promoting normal jaw development.
Case Report: This report describes a 4-year follow-up case of a child with complete anodontia.
Introduction: Dental caries is a preventable disease that can be prevented by suppressing any one of the factors of the Keyes triad.
Aim And Objective: To investigate the effect of probiotic yogurt on salivary pH, calcium level, and buffering capacity.
Materials And Methods: A total of 60 children were randomly selected and were divided into 2 groups.
Introduction: Learning through international experience has been well documented in USA literature, yet not well explored in Australia. The aim of this study is to understand Australian dental students' experiences and perceptions of international dental experience by: (i) capturing past participation; (ii) identifying potential interests for participants who have not been on a trip and (iii) ascertaining perceived benefits of the trip/s.
Materials And Methods: A 19 question paper survey was distributed to 310 eligible undergraduate dental students of The University of Queensland (UQ).
Continuous chelation involves the simultaneous use of sodium hypochlorite and a chelating agent. Given the combination of a proteolytic agent and a demineralising chelator, this study aimed to investigate whether mixtures containing the weak chelators etidronate or clodronate and sodium hypochlorite could adversely affect the mechanical strength of teeth compared to the sequence sodium hypochlorite/EDTA/sodium hypochlorite. Matching pairs of bovine teeth were tested on a universal testing machine, and the compressive load at fracture was recorded.

Aim: To quantitatively evaluate the remineralization potential of Casein phosphopeptide-amorphous calcium phosphate-fluoride(CPP-ACPF), Tri-calcium phosphate(TCP) & Nano-hydroxyapatite(nHAP) using Scanning Electron Microscopy(SEM) and Energy dispersive X-ray Analysis(EDX).
Material And Methods: 40 enamel specimens were prepared, and immersed in demineralising solution at a pH of 4.

However, retrospective clinical studies have shown a high incidence of cervical root fractures with long-term calcium hydroxide dressing. The alkalinity of calcium hydroxide has been suggested to weaken the root.

The first part of the review focused on mechanical property alterations of root dentine due to sodium hypochlorite (SH) used as an irrigant solution based on MeSH (Medical Subject Heading) terms from a previous study by Pascon et al in 2009. The second part reviewed literature on calcium hydroxide (CH), mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) and other alkaline materials used as root canal dressings or filling materials.

The aim of this study was to compare the antibacterial efficacy of Munident, an Ayurvedic (herbal) dentifrice with commercially available toothpaste.

So, if it was as effective as chlorhexidine (CHX) mouth rinse against cariogenic microbes it could be considered a natural, economical alternative. The purpose of this study was to evaluate and compare the anti-microbial efficacy of 0.

Background: Mothers play a crucial role in developing and maintaining their infants' oral hygiene. Maternal oral health, their knowledge and attitude toward infant oral health are strong indicators of their infant's oral health status.
Aim: The aim of this study is to evaluate the knowledge and attitude of expectant mothers about infant oral health and their oral hygiene practices.
Objectives: To study the effectiveness of yoga intervention on oxidative stress, glycemic status, blood pressure and anthropometry in prediabetes.
Design: Randomized-controlled trial.
Participants: Twenty nine prediabetes subjects aged 30-75 years.

Treacher Collins syndrome (Mandibulofacial dysostosis) is characterized by deafness, hypoplasia of facial bones (mandible, maxilla and cheek bone), antimongoloid slant of palpebral fissures, coloboma of the lower lid and bilateral anomalies of the auricle. Hypoplasia of the facial bones may be the first indicator of the disorder. We present a case report of Treacher Collins syndrome with their extraoral findings, intraoral findings and their treatment plan.

Objectives: A significant factor in achieving satisfactory adhesion of restorative resins to dentine substrate is the method by which the dentine surface is treated before an adhesive is applied. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of deproteinization on microleakage around gingival third resin restorations.
Materials And Methods: Standardised Class V preparations were made on randomly selected intact upper and lower human molars.
