- * This study from 2021 to 2023 evaluated intense pulsed light (IPL) therapy in patients with moderate MGD and severe COSP, showing significant improvements in pain and eye health after three IPL sessions.
- * Results indicated not only reduced pain levels (measured by OSDI) at two and four months post-treatment, but also improved tear film stability and reduced meibomian gland obstruction, suggesting IPL may help address the neuropathic aspect of COSP in MGD.
