Platelet-derived growth factor-BB (PDGF-BB) is a potent mitogenic, angiogenic and chemoattractant, and is one of the most abundant growth factors in platelet-derived products. The goal of the present study was to examine the effects of PDGF-BB on cellular morphology and cellular viability using 3D stem cell cultures. On day 1, spheroids formed well in silicon-elastomer-based concave microwells.
