The statistical data related to cancer in recent years has shown a great increase in the number of cases and is likely to further increase in the future. Even after seeking thorough knowledge on the aetiology of cancer and related disorders and attempting to cure it by various methods like gene therapy, T cell therapy, chemotherapy, surgery, hormone therapy, and photodynamic therapy, there has always been disappointment concerning the survival rate. Hence, there is still a great urge for the discovery of novel drugs for the treatment of cancer.

With the enhancement in the capabilities and performance of web technologies, sharing of experimental data using a flexible, modular, secure, and robust mechanism is feasible. In this direction, the Large Volume Plasma Device (LVPD), an experimental device dedicated for carrying out investigations for unfolding physical phenomena of relevance to Earth's magnetosphere and fusion plasmas, also adopts web-based electronic record keeping for its operation.

Purpose: The success of epilepsy surgery lies in identifying the ictal onset zone accurately. The significance of auras has little been explored on surgical outcome in drug-resistant epilepsy. This study focuses on the clinicopathological correlation of aura(s) and its role in predicting surgical outcome in drug-resistant temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE).

It is not clear as to what contributes to infertility in the above.
Method Of Study: This study investigates the expression of "AIRE in the uterus" and its contribution to early pregnancy of mice by using quantitative real-time PCR analysis, immunohistochemistry, Western blotting, and in vivo Aire silencing experiments.
Objective: To evaluate the potential effect of bamboo seed oil in decreasing the major metabolic symptoms associated with letrozole-induced polycystic ovarian disease using female rat model.
Materials And Methods: A new method of microwave-assisted extraction was developed. Female rats were grouped into four with six animals each.
Aim: To evaluate the effect of Cocus nucifera L. flowers in reducing the major multiple symptoms of letrozole-induced polycystic ovarian disease (PCOD) in female rats.
Method: Female, virgin Wistar rats were treated with letrozole (1 mg/kg body wt) to induce PCOD, and after 21 days of induction rats were administered orally with 100 and 200 mg·kg(-1) of Cocus nucifera flower aqueous extract, respectively.
Yellow leaf disease (YLD) with phytoplasmal aetiology is a serious disease of arecanut palm in India. The present study was undertaken to characterize the 16S rRNA and secA gene sequences of the Indian arecanut YLD phytoplasma for 'Candidatus Phytoplasma' species assignment and 16Sr group/subgroup classification. Phytoplasma 16S rRNA genes were amplified using three sets of semi-nested/nested primers, 1F7/7R3-1F7/7R2, 4Fwd/3Rev-4Fwd/5Rev and P1/P7-R16F2n/R16R2, producing amplicons of 491, 1150 and 1250 bp, respectively, from diseased samples.
