The specific effects of sodium selenite (selenite) on a chemoresistant human bladder cancer cell line RT-112/D21 were investigated during 72 h. Selenite at low concentration of 2.5 μmol (otherwise tolerated in normal urothelial cells UROtsa) suppressed growth and proliferation of the tested cancer cells via induced oxidative stress.

Basic differences in interactions on both types of phases led to quite different selectivity. The retention characteristics were investigated in detail using a variety of organic modifiers, buffers, and temperatures.

No statistically significant differences between individual groups were found. Subsequent investigations should be focused on subjects with incipient pneumoconiosis who are not yet entitled to damages.

We ourselves applied in our patients subcutaneous injections of hot-spring gas, per os prazosin (postsynaptic blocker of alpha-sympathetic receptors) which except for its vasodilatory effect improves the rheologic qualities of blood). Subcutaneous injections of hot-spring gas were administered to 31 males aged 32 to 67 years (average 50.
