To analyze the stages of development of the problem, identify the evolution of views and the main directions of current research in the field of bipolar affective disorder, which occurs with psychopharmacotherapy-induced manic phases, the search for publications by keywords «pharmaco-induced mania»", «bipolar affective disorder» was carried out in the PubMed/MEDLINE, Russian Citation index and other sources from the mid-19 century to the present. The issue of adequate treatment of bipolar depression became relevant back in the 20 century; numerous observations indicated the presence of associated risks when using antidepressants in patients with bipolar affective disorder, namely, the likelihood of affect inversion and aggravation of the course of the disease (accelerated cyclicity, continuum). In recent years, due to the expansion of research capabilities and the introduction of biological psychiatry, works have appeared that consider this problem from both clinical and pharmacodynamic, genetic and neurophysiological aspects, which opens up the prospect of developing advanced methods of personalized medicine for the diagnosis and treatment of bipolar disorder, taking into account the need to minimize iatrogenic effects.

Asymptotic solutions to the dispersion equation for the thin cylindrical shell are obtained, and the ABH effect is examined using analytical formulas for group velocities and anti-derivatives of the asymptotic expansions of wave numbers. It is shown that the ABH effect is achievable in thin cylindrical shells with variable thickness, in a similar manner as for beams and plates.

The influence of the donor group on the photophysical properties of chromophores in solution was shown by varying the methoxy group position in the electron-rich aromatic ring. The effect of the π-linker was also demonstrated by the comparison of the D-π-A pyridone with its spacer-free analogue (D-A) and with the chromophore bearing an additional thiophene bridge (D-π-π-A).

The ability to emit narrow exciton lines, preferably with a clearly defined polarization, is one of the key conditions for the use of nanostructures based on III-VI monochalcogenides and other layered crystals in quantum technology to create non-classical light. Currently, the main method of their formation is exfoliation followed by strain and defect engineering. A factor limiting the use of epitaxy is the presence of different phases in the grown films.

While the purity and indistinguishability of single photons are already close to ideal values, the high brightness of SPSs remains a challenge. The widely used resonant excitation with cross-polarization filtering usually leads to at least a two-fold reduction in the single-photon counts rate, since single-photon emission is usually unpolarized, or its polarization state is close to that of the exciting laser.

Instead of considering the Euler-Bernoulli beam theory, we use Timoshenko's approach, which is known to be more realistic at higher frequencies. Our goal is to minimize the reflection coefficient under a constraint imposed on the normalized wavenumber variation.

Material And Methods: The data of 54 patients, aged 18-55 years, with a current depressive episode who had outpatient SARS-CoV-2 infection were analyzed. The Hamilton depression rating scale (HDRS) was used and somatic condition was assessed using a general assessment of the patient's function limitation at the stage of reconvalescence.
Based on six representatives of 2-oxonicotinonitriles, the effect of the nature of the substituent in the fourth position of the pyridine system on the photophysical characteristics was studied. The role of the donor/acceptor nature of the substituent and the solvent nature in the absorbing and fluorescent properties of the compounds was shown.

This microreview compiles methods for the synthesis of -stilbazoles (2-styrylpyridines) described in the literature in 2017-2022. Depending on the synthons from which the target structure is formed, four main synthetic approaches can be distinguished: coupling reactions, Wittig reactions, condensation reactions, and pyridine ring formation reactions.

Their photophysical properties in DMSO solution and aqueous medium as well as fluorescence response to the presence of metal ions have been investigated. The obtained 4-(4-methoxyphenyl)-6-oxo-1,6-dihydro-[2,2'-bipyridine]-5-carbonitrile has been shown as a selective fluorescent "turn-ON" probe for Cd ions with LoD 0.

A mathematical analysis of wave propagation along an elastic cylindrical tube is presented, with the aim of determining the range of Poisson's ratio for which backward wave propagation (i.e. at negative group velocity) can occur near the ring frequency.

The implemented design of the barriers provides a shift in the quantum dot radiation wavelength towards the O-band, while the nanoantenna collects the radiation and ensures its effective output. With non-resonant optical pumping, the average count rate of emitted single photons exceeds 10 MHz with the second-order correlation function g(2)(0) = 0.

COVID-19 pandemic has added both a stronger need for rapid SWB screening and new opportunities for it, with online mental health applications gaining popularity and accumulating large and diverse user data. Nevertheless, the few existing works so far have aimed at predicting SWB, and have done so only in terms of Diener's Satisfaction with Life Scale.

We demonstrate periodic arrays of such emitters, which are fabricated by focused ion beam etching from a II-VI/III-V heterostructure grown using molecular beam epitaxy.

However, due to existence of numerous polytypes and occurrence of additional phases, the synthesis of 2D films remains a difficult task. This paper reports on MBE growth of GaSe, InSe, and GaTe layers and related heterostructures on GaAs(001) substrates by using a Se valve cracking cell and group III metal effusion cells.

This unique combination allowed us to probe the Mn distribution with excellent sensitivity and sub-nanometer resolution. Our results show that the diffusion of Mn impurities in GaAs is strongly suppressed; conversely, Mn atoms are subject to a substantial redistribution in the ZnSe layer, which is affected by the growth conditions and the presence of an annealing step.

Nanoscale, low-phase-noise, tunable transmitter-receiver links are key for enabling the progress of wireless communication. We demonstrate that vortex-based spin-torque nano-oscillators, which are intrinsically low-noise devices because of their topologically protected magnetic structure, can achieve frequency tunability when submitted to local ion implantation. In the experiments presented here, the gyrotropic mode is excited with spin-polarized alternating currents and anisotropic magnetoresistance measurements yield discrete frequencies from a single device.

The bi-orthogonality relation for eigenfunctions of self-adjoint operators is derived. Its composition is explained in view of the structure of a characteristic equation and of the energy flow components. Application of the bi-orthogonality relation for solving forcing problems is generalized and the connection between the bi-orthogonality relation and the virtual wave method is highlighted.

This paper presents a class of approximations to a type of wave field for which the dispersion relation is transcendental. The approximations have two defining characteristics: (i) they give the field shape exactly when the frequency and wavenumber lie on a grid of points in the (frequency, wavenumber) plane and (ii) the approximate dispersion relations are polynomials that pass exactly through points on this grid. Thus, the method is interpolatory in nature, but the interpolation takes place in (frequency, wavenumber) space, rather than in physical space.
