Objective Evaluation of Multiple Sclerosis Lesion Segmentation using a Data Management and Processing Infrastructure.

We present a study of multiple sclerosis segmentation algorithms conducted at the international MICCAI 2016 challenge. This challenge was operated using a new open-science computing infrastructure. This allowed for the automatic and independent evaluation of a large range of algorithms in a fair and completely automatic manner.

The use of complementary and alternative therapies and of psychotherapy by Romanian patients with irritable bowel syndrome.

Unlabelled: Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is an invalidating condition, lacking a perfect therapy. Therefore, many patients use also complementary and alternative therapies (CAT) or psychotherapy (PT). There are no data on the use of CAT and PT in IBS in our area.

e-Registry of dyspepsia in Transylvania.

Dyspepsia, a chronic condition, requires a good differentiation between functional disorders of the esophagus, stomach, and duodenum and organic illnesses. Some organic conditions may progress to more severe diseases like gastric cancer, so the follow-up of dyspepsia is mandatory. We created a database to be used as a registry for dyspepsia.
