This study utilized a subset of healthcare workers' temporary use of a new brand respirator with frequent defects when caring for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) patients to assess the protective effect of regular respirators against SARS-CoV-2 infection.
Methods: We retrospectively followed 463 participants wearing a regular respirator and 168 wearing the new brand respirator day-by-day when caring for COVID-19 patients until testing polymerase chain reaction positive for SARS-CoV-2 between 27th December 2020 and 14th January 2021.
Objective: To assess the impact of the Urology Collaborative Online Video Didactic (COViD) lecture series series on resident knowledge as a supplement to resident education during the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic.
Methods: One hundred thirty-nine urology residents were voluntarily recruited from 8 institutions. A 20-question test, based on 5 COViD lectures, was administered before and after watching the lectures.

Methods: We pooled and harmonised data from five Scandinavian cohorts resulting in 78 389 participants. Multistream product lines based on separate commercialization of the isolated high-value compounds and of the improved bulk products increase the economic potential of the light-driven production system and accelerate commercial scale up. Here we outline the scientific basis for the establishment of such green circular biomanufacturing systems and highlight recent results that make this a realistic option based on cross-disciplinary basic and applied research to advance long-term solutions.

Methods: We identified all cases of first cancers diagnosed in children aged 0-19 years in 1985-2013 from the Danish Cancer Registry (N = 3962) and sampled four individually matched (by sex and date of birth) controls per case (N = 14,790) using the Central Population Register.

Methods: An online, cross-sectional survey was sent to the 600 active members of the Danish Chiropractic Association. Of those, 364 completed the survey and 286 met our inclusion criteria.
Purpose: We report stone comminution in the first 19 human subjects by burst wave lithotripsy (BWL), which is the transcutaneous application of focused, cyclic ultrasound pulses.
Materials And Methods: This was a prospective multi-institutional feasibility study recruiting subjects undergoing clinical ureteroscopy (URS) for at least 1 stone ≤12 mm as measured on computerized tomography. During the planned URS, either before or after ureteroscope insertion, BWL was administered with a handheld transducer, and any stone fragmentation and tissue injury were observed.
