Women's experiences in the transition to menopause: a qualitative research.

Background: Around the time of transition to menopausal period, women experience mental, and psychological disorders that require adequate attention to these symptoms. This study aimed to explore the experiences of women in the face of premenopausal symptoms.

Methods: This qualitative study was conducted using a content analysis method in Javanrood, Iran, in 2020.

Midwifery-oriented group counseling based on the GATHER approach on quality of life of women during the transition to menopause: a randomized controlled trial.

Objective: This study aimed to determine the effect of midwifery-oriented group counseling based on the GATHER model on the quality of life of women during the transition to menopause.

Methods: This randomized controlled clinical trial was performed on 90 women 45 years or older in 2019 to 2020 in Kermanshah, Iran. The women were assigned into two groups using a randomized blocked design.
