Background: Achievement of moisture balance can be a critical factor affecting time to closure of nonhealing wounds, and dry wounds can take much longer to heal than those with high exudate levels. Whether the goal of management is to donate moisture to the wound or control excessive fluid until the cause has been identified and addressed, choice of dressing and other wound management products can affect nursing resources, clinical outcomes, concordance, and quality of life for the patient.

Case Reports: The cases discussed illustrate differences in management approaches for dry and wet wounds and show how clinician support tools (eg, tissue type, infection/inflammation, moisture imbalance, epithelial edge advancement [TIME] clinical decision support tool) can facilitate treatment decisions.

Objective: Adolescents are particularly susceptible to developing an eating disorder (ED). Therefore, schools are in a unique position to assist in the prevention of EDs for this vulnerable group. To ascertain the current evidence-base for school-based ED prevention efforts, we conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomised controlled trials that delivered a school-based ED prevention intervention and assessed the impact these interventions had on ED symptomatology.

Background: Although eating disorder (ED) models display some differences in theory and treatment approach, cognitive-behavioural, schema-focused, and disorder-specific models all highlight the fundamental nature of cognitions as key factors in ED development and maintenance processes. As such, it is vital that ED cognitions continue to be assessed and monitored as therapeutic targets and treatment outcomes as well as being examined as constructs in empirical research. This review aimed to systematically identify and evaluate the psychometric properties of existing self-report measures of ED cognitions.
