Kaposi's sarcoma responding to topical imiquimod 5% cream: a case report.

Kaposi's sarcoma, a virus-associated neoplasm, can be treated with systemic therapy such interferon or chemotherapy, although a local alternative is possible in localized disease.Topical imiquimod is a ligand of the toll-like receptors 7 and 8 on dendritic cells, increasing immune responses and showing antiviral and antitumoral activities. We report a spectacular response to imiquimod 5% cream in a patient with classic Kaposi's sarcoma of the leg.

Hand-foot syndrome and seborrheic dermatitis-like eruption induced by erlotinib.

Erlotinib is an epidermal growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitor that is responsible for several cutaneous side effects. We report a case of hand-foot syndrome associated with a papulo-pustular and seborrheic dermatitis-like eruption of the face in a 61-year-old patient treated with erlotinib for lung cancer.

[Tobacco-associated lesions of the oral cavity and motivation for smoking cessation: a study of 121 cases].

Unlabelled: Tobacco use produces many changes to the oral cavity including non-malignant, precancerous, and malignant lesions. Most of these oral lesions and changes can be detected by a simple visual inspection of the oral cavity.

Methods: We evaluated the motivation for smoking cessation of patients with oral lesions.
