Trimetallic nanoparticles (TMNPs) have opened a broad spectrum of applications with a new class of materialistic combinations in several fields from electronics to medicinal and environmental applications. In this work, we report the synthesis and characterization of Ni/Cu/Ag TMNPs using the polyol method and their nonlinear optical (NLO) studies. A broad surface plasmon resonance (SPR) peak at 443 nm evidences the formation of the Ni/Cu/Ag TMNPs with a peak shift compared to their mono- or bimetallic counterparts.

Researchers have already established that inhalation of high radon concentration is hazardous to human health. Radon concentration has been measured in water and soil, in various part of Kolhapur district has been carried out by the AQTEK Smart RnDuo which is an active device technique. The observed minimum value of the radon mass exhalation rate of the soil is 13.

This experience has helped us gain working knowledge on cyclotron operation with practical points, which may help in improving F yield, minimizing the breakdown time, and help in the prevention of the occurrence of unusual events.
Materials And Methods: Our facility has a self-shielded radioisotope delivery system eclipse 111 medical cyclotron with an 11 MeV proton beam in use for the past 10 years to produce positron emitters - namely, F, N, and F-2 gas - for PET imaging.

Starches isolated from two recently released rice cultivars (PR 121 and PR 116) grown in sub-tropical climates of Punjab, India were subjected to gamma irradiation at 0, 2, and 10 kGy doses using a Co(60) irradiator source. Physicochemical, thermal, pasting, and morphological properties were studied. Irradiation resulted in a significant decrease in apparent amylose content, swelling power and pasting properties.

We compared three techniques for (18)F-NaF production during routine PET radiochemistry at our setup. In one method we used synthesis module and in other two methods we did not.

So, it becomes necessary to study the natural radioactivity levels in soil to assess the dose for the population in order to know the health risks and to have a baseline for future changes in the environmental radioactivity due to human activities. The natural radionuclide (226Ra, 232Th, and 40K) contents in soil were determined for 26 locations around the Upper Siwaliks of Kala Amb, Nahan and Morni Hills, Northern India, using high-resolution gamma-ray spectrometric analysis.

The range of activity concentrations of 226Ra, 232Th and 40K in the soil from the studied areas varies from 18.37 Bq kg(-1) (Sangrur) to 53.
