  • Results showed that patients in the aquatic exercise group experienced significantly greater reductions in pain and stiffness compared to those in the land-based group.
  • Overall, both types of exercise improved quality of life, but the aquatic group demonstrated more substantial benefits in physical and mental health outcomes.

Introduction: functional restoration of the spine is a proven method in the short-term management of chronic low back pain. The aim of our study  was to evaluate the effect of a functional restoration program at two years of evolution.
