Background: Glycolysis plays a major role in progression of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). Here, we aim to explore the predictive signature based on glycolysis-related genes for predicting the prognosis and identified a potential therapeutic target for IPF.
Methods: Gene expression data of bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) cells and clinical information were downloaded from the Gene Expression Omnibus database.
Background: Anti-programmed cell death 1 (PD-1) antibody combined with chemotherapy simultaneously is regarded as the standard treatment for patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) by current clinical guidelines. Different immune statuses induced by chemotherapy considerably affect the synergistic effects of the chemo-anti-PD-1 combination. Background: Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and/or gastroesophageal reflux (GER) may be the contributors to chronic cough in patients with OSA and concomitant GER. This study aimed to explore whether continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP), antireflux treatment and lifestyle modifications improve chronic cough in patients with OSA and concomitant GER.
Methods: Patients with OSA and concomitant GER who also experienced chronic cough were enrolled, and were divided into two groups.

Methods: In our previous study, 35 genes encoding LC-associated TAAs were identified from the serological analysis of recombinant cDNA expression libraries (SEREX), and Oncomine database was further used to identify potential genes in cancer progression.
Objectives: The purpose of this study is to discover novel tumor-associated antigens (TAAs) to improve the diagnosis of lung cancer (LC).
Materials And Methods: Oncomine database was used to discover potential TAAs from LC tissues, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was used to detect the levels of autoantibodies against TAAs in two independent sets (identification set, n = 368; validation set, n = 1011).
Results: Analyses of sera from identification set showed that the sensitivity of autoantibodies against five TAAs (HMGB3, ZWINT, GREM1, NUSAP1 and MMP12) reached 57.

Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy of noninvasive positive pressure ventilation (NPPV) in treatment of patients with arrhythmia complicated by sleep apnea syndrome (SAS).
Methods: One hundred and thirty-five arrhythmia patients with polysomnography diagnosed SAS were randomly divided into NPPV group (69 cases) and control group (66 cases), the NPPV group was treated with standard medications and NPPV, and the control group was treated with standard medications. SAS related parameters were compared between the groups after 3 months therapy.
