For the first time, this study evaluated the gender differences and mechanisms of the antidepressant effects of raw Rehmanniae Radix(RRR) based on the classic depression model with traditional Chinese medicine syndrome of Yin deficiency and internal heat. The depression model with Yin deficiency and internal heat was established by the widely recognized and applied method of thyroxine induction of the classic depression model with Yin deficiency and internal heat(chronic unpredictable mild stress). Male and female mice were simultaneously treated with RRR.

Objective: To better understand the effects of PFAS exposure during pregnancy on offspring neurodevelopment, we conducted a systematic review of prenatal exposure to different types of PFAS and neurodevelopment in children.
Methods: A comprehensive search was conducted in the PubMed, Web of Science, and EMBASE electronic databases up to March 2023.
This study explored toxicity attenuation processing technology of Rhizoma Dioscoreae Bulbiferae stir-fried with Paeoniae Radix Alba decoction for the first time, and further explored its detoxification mechanism. Nine processed products of Rhizoma Dioscoreae Bulbiferae stir-fried with Paeoniae Radix Alba decoction were prepared by orthogonal experiment with three factors and three levels. Based on the decrease in the content of the main hepatotoxic component diosbulbin B before and after processing of Rhizoma Dioscoreae Bulbiferae by high-performance liquid chromatography, the toxicity attenuation technology was preliminarily screened out.

However, few studies have investigated the association between the dietary literacy of daily diet providers and the eating behaviours and nutritional status of school-age children raised by the providers. Thus, we aimed to explore this association.

This study aimed to investigate the association between pyrethroid exposure and the risk of depressive symptoms in adults in the USA. Data of participants aged ≥20 years (n = 6455) from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES, 2007-2014) were included. 3-Phenoxybenzoic acid (3-PBA), an adequately detected pyrethroid metabolite, was used as a biomarker to assess pyrethroid exposure.

There are two main reasons for this: (1) climate change has altered the temporal and spatial distribution of precipitation, and climate warming intensified the mutual transformation of water bodies. The temperature in China increased by 0.

At present, the neuroprotection of GLP-1 analogues in Alzheimer's disease (AD) has just begun to be explored.
Objectives: To investigate how glucagon-like peptide-1 (liraglutide) plays a protective role in AD by regulating tau activation and BACE1 expression.
The study investigates transformation mechanism of ions on different waters in Alpine region through analyzed the hydrochemical characteristics of the major ions of precipitation, glacier and snow meltwater, supra-permafrost water and river water in permafrost regions in the Tibetan Plateau under climate warming. The results showed that, The relation between recharge and discharge was the major ways for ionic transformation of each water body. Precipitation and glacier and snow meltwater are the main input sources for ionic transformation, and river water is the final output source.

The δO (δD and d-excess) values for the initial ablation, ablation, and end ablation periods were -10.18‰ (-71.

The study investigates the hydrochemical type and characteristics of river water in permafrost regions in the Tibetan Plateau by analyzing 532 samples collected from the source region of the Yangtze River. The hydrochemical type of the river water was Cl-Na-SO, and its hydrochemical characteristics were primarily influenced by the soil sources, though the influence of the sea sources and anthropogenic factors could not be ignored. Significant negative correlations were found between temperature and NO, SO, Mg, Ca, and between precipitation, relative humidity, and SO and Mg in the river water.

The study is conducted through collected 330 samples from June to September in 2016 and 2017 in the Source Region of the Yangtze River (SRYR). The results showed the pattern of ionic dominance based on mean value was following as: Cl > Na > SO > Ca > Mg > K > NO > NO > NH > F > Li.

The aim of the research is to explore the major factors involving in prognosis of ALS patients through long-term follow-up.
Methods: ALS patients' DNA extracted from peripheral blood white cells were detected for the risk allele by single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) analysis.
This aim of the present study was to observe the effect of high mobility group AT‑hook 2 (HMGA2) on the proliferation and invasion ability of ACHN renal cell carcinoma (RCC) cells. Human ACHN cells, an RCC cell line, and HKC normal human renal tubular epithelial cells were cultured. HMGA2 small interfering (si)RNA, Mock‑siRNA and their negative control group were designed and synthesized.

Objective: To explore the relationship between Th17 and Treg levels and aGVHD occurence in patients after allo-HSCT.
Methods: Thirty-nine patients received allo-HSCT were divided into 2 groups: aGVHD group(17 cases) and non-aGVHD group (22 cases). For aGVHD group, the peripheral blood was collected before aGVHD occurence, in occurence and after aGVHD improvement; for non-aGVHD group, the peripheral blood was collected after 1, 2 and 3 months of transplantation.

The controlled-release tablets of sasanquasaponin (SQS)-casein were prepared by using SQS, casein and guar gum as the main drug and accessory materials respectively. The method of determination of SQS in the controlled-release tablets of SQS-casein, and the effects of release media on the release rate and IR spectra of the controlled-release tablets of SQS-casein were studied, respectively. The release rate curve of the controlled-release tablets of SQS-casein was fitted as zero order, one order and Higuchi equation.

Our study demonstrates that the spin crossover, based on the Stark effect, is achieved in this molecular junction under an electric bias but not in the isolated molecule under external electric fields. The main reason is that the polarizability of the molecular junction has an opposite sign to that of the isolated molecule, and thus from the Stark effect the condition for the spin crossover in the molecular junction is contrary to that in the isolated molecule.
