Although approaches for the online surface detection of automotive pipelines exist, low defect area rates, small-sample and long-tailed data, and the difficulty of detection due to the variable morphology of defects are three major problems faced when using such methods. In order to solve these problems, this study combines traditional visual detection methods and deep neural network technology to propose a transfer learning multi-channel fusion decision network without significantly increasing the number of network layers or the structural complexity. Each channel of the network is designed according to the characteristics of different types of defects.

The intervention integrated stakeholder perspectives, expert insights, empirical evidence, and theoretical frameworks.
Methods: We initially searched for initial cardiac rehabilitation strategies based on the "Behavior Change Wheel" model and literature review.

Suboptimal spatial utilization and inefficient access to internal porosity preclude porous carbon cathodes from delivering high energy density in zinc-ion hybrid capacitors (ZIHCs). Inspired by the function of capillaries in biological systems, this study proposes a facile coordination-pyrolysis method to fabricate thin-walled hollow carbon nanofibers (CNFs) with optimized pore structure and surface functional groups for ZHICs. The capillary-like CNFs maximize the electrode/electrolyte interface area, facilitating the optimal utilization of energy storage sites.

In this study, we prepared scaffolds composed of aligned and random electrospun polycaprolactone (PCL) nanofibers capable of delivering basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) in a sustained manner for repairing damaged tendons.
Results: Aligned and random PCL fiber scaffolds containing bFGF-loaded bovine serum albumin (BSA) nanoparticles (BSA-bFGF NPs, diameter 146 ± 32 nm) were fabricated, respectively.
Accumulating studies have highlighted the links between stress-related networks and the HPA axis for emotion regulation and proved the mapping associations between altered structural and functional networks (called SC-FC coupling) in depression. However, the signatures of SC-FC coupling in subthreshold depression (StD) individuals and their relationships with HPA axis reactivity, as well as the predictive power of these combinations for discriminating StD, remain unclear. This cross-sectional study enrolled 160 adults, including 117 StD and 43 healthy controls (HC).

Objectives: To assess the effects of unilateral versus bilateral antegrade cerebral perfusion (u-ACP vs. b-ACP) on postoperative complications and mid-term follow-up results in Asian patients with acute type A aortic dissection (ATAAD) undergoing total arch replacement (TAR) + the frozen elephant trunk (FET).
Methods: Clinical baseline data and postoperative complications of 702 ATAAD patients undergoing TAR + FET at China Cardiovascular Centre Fuwai Hospital between January 2019 and December 2022 were collected.
Background: Patients with poor prognosis after TAVR surgery require high-quality cardiac rehabilitation. Digital home-based rehabilitation based on real-time information intervention can improve outcomes. However, the parameters of the text message intervention, such as text message content, intervention duration, text message frequency, and other parameters, may vary.

The van der Waals coupling between the layers tolerates stacking various materials and establishing heterostructures with new characteristics for a wide range of optoelectronic applications. The interlayer exciton dynamics at the interface within the heterostructure are vitally important for the performance of the photodetector and photovoltaic device.

It is strongly supported by activated pancreatic stellate cells (PSC) which drive excessive desmoplasia and tumor growth via metabolic crosstalk. Herein, a programmed nanosystem is designed to dual rectify the metabolism abnormalities of the PDAC cells, which overexpress glucose transporter 1(GLUT1) and CD71, and the PSC for oncotherapy.

This emphasis has made it challenging for immunologists to systematically evaluate the mechanisms initiating humoral immunity in specific immune responses. In this study, we employ ordinary differential equations (ODE) to investigate the dynamic reshaping of the entire antibody repertoire in response to viral infections.

Hepatic stellate cells (HSCs) and mouse primary hepatocytes were treated with TGF-β and subsequently exposed to BA. To assess the effects of BA on the NR2F2-HMGB1 signaling cascade, these cells underwent transfection with a siRNA vector targeting NR2F2.

To date, research into mitochondrial dynamics in IVDD is at an early stage. Since Piezo1 is a novel Ca-permeable channel, we asked whether Piezo1 could modulate mitochondrial fission through Ca signalling during CEP degeneration.

Modifications in microstructure can lead to changes in the physical and chemical properties of food systems, which in turn may influence the nutritional characteristics and functional activities of the food. Recent studies have shown that, in addition to traditional Chinese medicine compounds, certain natural polysaccharides and polyphenols exhibit significant anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

Background: Cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) play a pivotal role in shaping the microenvironment of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). However, the mechanisms through which CAFs influence the progression of HCC remain incompletely understood.
Methods: Single-cell RNA sequencing datasets (GSE158723 and GSE112271) were retrieved from the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database at the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) and analyzed using R software.
Di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), an environmental endocrine disruptor, has hormone-like activity and endocrine-disrupting effects. However, the types of reproductive hormones associated with DEHP vary across the studies. Thus, we conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis to pool existing epidemiological evidence.
