WRKY transcription factors (TFs) play crucial roles in responses to abiotic and biotic stresses that significantly impact plant growth and development. Advancements in molecular biology and sequencing technologies have elevated WRKY TF studies from merely determining expression patterns and functional characterization to uncovering molecular regulatory networks. Numerous WRKY TFs regulate drought tolerance in plants through various regulatory networks.

Background: Postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) is a leading cause of maternal mortality worldwide, particularly in resource-limited settings. Enhancing maternal safety in relation to PPH requires optimizing care protocols, continuous monitoring, and timely interventions. However, integrating these methodologies into vaginal delivery practices remains underexplored.

If GSRs are covered with bloodstains, SEM cannot detect them. In this study, an inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry method is proposed to solve this problem.

However, the catalyst deactivation and side reaction oxygen evolution reaction (OER) are still serious problems for CER. Improving the stability and selectivity of catalyst for long term electrocatalytic reaction in large current density is highly desired.

α5-nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (α5-nAChR) plays a vital part in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD). However, it is not comprehensively understood that how the α5-nAChR affects LUAD. Through diverse bioinformatics analyses and immunohistochemistry, the expressions of α5-nAChR and SOX2 as well as their relations were dissected.

Zinc finger CCCH-type antiviral protein 1 (ZC3HAV1) specifically binds the CpG dinucleotides in the viral RNAs of multiple viruses and promotes their degradation. ZAPS (ZC3HAV1 short isoform) is a potent stimulator of retinoid acid-inducible gene I (RIG-I) signaling during the antiviral response.

This study aimed to elucidate the role of TP53-induced glycolysis and apoptosis regulator (TIGAR) in polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). A rat model PCOS was constructed by subcutaneous injection with dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA). Follicular atresia and reduced granular cells (GCs) in ovaries suggested successful modeling.

Notably, human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cell-derived exosomes (hucMSC-Exos) are emerging as promising targeted therapies for renal conditions. The aim of this study was to investigate the therapeutic effects of hucMSC-Exos on diabetic kidney disease (DKD) both in vivo and in vitro.

The cyclic guanosine monophosphate-adenosine monophosphate (cGAMP) synthase (cGAS)-dependent pathway is a key DNA-sensing pathway that recognizes cytosolic DNA and plays a crucial role in initiating innate immune responses against pathogenic microbes and cancer. Various molecules have been identified as regulators of the cGAS-dependent pathway that controls innate immune responses. However, despite the important roles of Stimulator-of-interferon genes (STING) in the cGAS-dependent pathway, the regulation of its activation has not been elucidated.

This study aimed to investigate this causal relationship and reveal the effect of GM and immune cells on the risk of developing CHD using mediated Mendelian randomization (MR) analysis.
Methods: First, we searched for data related to GM, immune cells, and CHD through published genome-wide association studies (GWAS).
Objective: To explore the association of Occupational chronic psychological stress with transaminase, heat shock protein70(HSP70)gene family and their protein interaction with metabolic syndrome(MS).
Methods: A case-control study was used. According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, from March 2015 to March 2016, 583 unrelated MS patients were selected as the case group and 585 unrelated healthy people as the control group among hospitalized and physical examination subjects aged 20-60 in Wuzhong People's Hospital and General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University.
RNA N6-methyladenosine (m6A) readers mediate cancer progression. However, the functional role and potential mechanisms of the m6A readers in prostate cancer tumorigenicity remain to be elucidated. In this study, we demonstrate that YTHDF3 expression is elevated in castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC) and positively correlated to high grade, bone metastasis and poor survival.

Methods: This prospective, randomized, open-label, blinded endpoint (PROBE) trial enrolled 2258 women with one or more risk factors for PPH who underwent vaginal delivery. Participants were randomly assigned in a 1:1 ratio to receive an intravascular infusion of 1 g TXA or a placebo immediately after the delivery of the infant.
The senescence of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) contributes to the development of degenerative skeletal conditions.
