A cooperative Rh(II)/Pd(0) dual-catalysis strategy that enabled divergent reactions of α-diazo 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds with allylic carbonates involving ketene versus carbene intermediates is described. The efficient synthesis of α-quaternary allylated β-keto-esters was accomplished by the Rh(II)/Pd(0) dual-catalysis allylic alkylation of α-diazo 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds. Alternatively, an unprecedented (1+4) annulation of α-diazo 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds with 2-(hydroxymethyl)allyl carbonates via Rh(II)/Pd(0) dual catalysis was also successfully developed, affording a wide variety of α-quaternary tetrahydrofurans in good to high yields.

Twelve carcasses from each breed (36 in total) were used in this study. BL and BH had higher moisture and crude ash contents and lower crude fat and protein contents than HW, regardless of the muscle type.

Method: The study participants were derived from the Elderly Individuals with NCCD Registered Cohort Study (EINCCDRCS), a multicenter registry of patients with NCCD. The preliminary testing of the questionnaire was conducted among 10 older individuals aged 65 years and older who had NCCD and were recruited from the registry.
Expanding target pesticide species and intelligent pesticide recognition were formidable challenges for existing cholinesterase inhibition methods. To improve this status, multi-active Mel-Cu nanozyme with mimetic Cu-N sites was prepared for the first time. It exhibited excellent laccase-like and peroxidase-like activities, and can respond to some pesticides beyond the detected range of enzyme inhibition methods, such as glyphosate, carbendazim, fumonisulfuron, etc.

High-nickel (Ni ≥ 90%) cathodes which have a high specific capacity hold great potential for next-generation lithium-ion batteries (LIBs). However, their practical application is restricted by their high interfacial reactivity because of the presence of residual lithium (Li) compounds on the surface. Herein, the LiNiCoMnO (NCM90) cathode is surface-modified with sulfur (S) via a simple and feasible dry mixing and low-temperature heat treatment, converting the residual lithium compound on the surface into inactive lithium sulfate (LiSO).

However, it faces limitations when the fabrication of microstructures comprising multiple materials is desired. The generation processes of multi-material microstructures are often very complex, requiring meticulous alignment, as well as a series of step-and-repeat writing and development of the materials.

Lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) are widely employed as nonviral delivery vehicles for RNA therapeutics in commercial vaccine and gene therapy products. However, the bottleneck in expanding the clinical applications of LNP-based RNA therapeutics lies in the tendency of these nanoparticles to preferentially accumulate in the liver.

Most reported iron carbyne complexes are stabilized by incorporating heteroatoms. Here we show the synthesis of bioinspired FeMo heterobimetallic carbyne complexes by the conversion of CH through a diverse series of intermediates.

However, in numerous experimental settings, a controlled generation of optical vortices with arbitrary orbital angular momentum remains a challenge. Here, we present a concept of "optical vortex ladder" for the stepwise generation of optical vortices through Sisyphus pumping of pseudospin modes in photonic graphene.

Previously we showed that the P3 protein of Soybean mosaic virus (SMV), one of the most destructive and successful viral pathogens of soybean, targets a component of the soybean translation elongation complex to facilitate its pathogenesis. Here, we conducted a systematic analyses of the soybean () gene family in soybean and examinedits role in virus resistance.

Background: Stress-induced hyperglycemia (SIH) is associated with poor outcomes in cardiogenic shock (CS), and there have been inconsistent results among patients with or without diabetes mellitus (DM). The glycemic gap (GG) is derived by subtracting A1c-derived average glucose from blood glucose levels; it is a superior indicator of SIH. We aimed to explore the role of GG in the outcomes of patients with CS.

However, posttranscriptional regulation such as N-methyladenosine (mA) of TGF-β-SMAD signaling axis remains incompletely understood. Here, we reveal that insulin like growth factor 2 mRNA binding protein 2 (IGF2BP2) is low expression as well as associated with poor prognosis in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) patients and inhibits proliferation as well as promotes metastasis of ccRCC cells.

Objective: To analyze the spatial autocorrelation and spatiotemporal clustering characteristics of severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome(SFTS) in Anhui Province from 2011 to 2023.
Methods: Data of SFTS in Anhui Province from 2011 to 2023 were collected. Spatial autocorrelation analysis was conducted using GeoDa software, while spatiotemporal scanning was performed using SaTScan 10.
In this study, a novel COF@COF modified magnetic MXene composite (CoFeO @TiC @COF@COF) was synthesized by Schiff base reaction and irre-versible enol-keto tautomerization, and employed to establish a sensitive monitoring method for six thiophene compounds in oilfield produced water samples based on magnetic solid-phase extraction (MSPE) prior to gas chromatography coupled with a triple quadruple mass spectrometer (GC-MS/MS). The designed magnetic materials exhibited unexpected enrichment ability to target thiophene compounds and achieved good extraction efficiencies ranging from 83 % to 98 %. The developed MSPE/GC-MS/MS method exhibited good linearity in the range of 0.

The control of enantioselectivity in radical cation reactions presents long-standing challenges, despite a few successful examples. We introduce a novel strategy of asymmetric counteranion-directed electrocatalysis to address enantioselectivity in radical cation chemistry. This concept has been successfully demonstrated in two reactions: an asymmetric dehydrogenative indole-phenol [3+2] coupling and an atroposelective C-H/N-H dehydrogenative coupling.
