[Voluntary abortion and domestic violence among women attended at a public maternity hospital of Salvador-BA].

Quantitative study in order to study domestic violence in women with induced abortion. Interviews were conducted with 147 women hospitalized for induced abortion in a public maternity hospital in Salvador, Bahia. The subjects are characterized by mostly women, black, poorly educated, economically dependent on spouses, experienced psychological abuse, physical and sexual abuse committed by their spouses.

[Domestic and institutional violence in health services: women's experiences].

Developed in state capitals Recife, Salvador and Aracaju, in three state maternity hospitals, this quantitative study aimed at identifying the manifestations of domestic and institutional violence suffered by women assisted in subprograms of the Program of Integral Assistance to the Woman's Health. Data collection was performed by using a semi-structured form. The sample featured young women, housewives, and those that are economically dependant on their significant others.

[Spouse violence: experiences expressed in male narratives].

Aiming the research of violence experiences in conjugal relation, this descriptive study, of qualitative and quantitative approach, aimed to identify conjugal violence in male discourse. Population was composed of 50 men residing in Calafate community, San Martin, a quarter in Salvador/Ba. In order to collect data, one utilized the interview with semi-structured formulary.
