Currently, the escalation of microbial resistance poses a significant global challenge. Children are more susceptible to develop infections and therefore are prescribed antibiotics more frequently. The overuse and misuse of antibiotics in pediatric patients can play a considerable role in developing microbial resistance.

This study aimed to evaluate the association of three functional polymorphisms, BclI, N363S, and ER22/23EK, on the NR3C1 gene with NODAT in kidney allograft recipients.
Methods: From Jun 2020 to July 2022 in Shiraz, 52 patients with NODAT (case group) and 52 non-diabetic kidney transplant recipients (control group) were randomly screened and recruited in this case-control study.
Objectives: Several factors influence medication patterns. The purpose of this study was to look into the role of social determinants in the use of prescribed and non-prescribed medications in a population-based setting of people over 18 in a southern metropolis of Iran (Shiraz) for 2 years.
Study Design: Prospective population-based cross-sectional.
Patients with SARS-CoV-2 infections experience lymphopenia and inflammatory cytokine storms in the severe stage of the disease, leading to multi-organ damage. The exact pattern of immune system changes and their condition during the disease process is unclear. The available knowledge has indicated that the NF-kappa-B pathway, which is induced by several mediators, has a significant role in cytokine storm through the various mechanisms.

This conjugated complex was synthesized in three steps, and HNMR, FTIR, and UV-Vis spectroscopy confirmed its success. The simvastatin conjugation rate to chitosan was 1.

Firstly, aminopropyl hexagonal mesoporous silica was synthetized in a co-condensation process, via templating route of -dodecylamine. Then synthesized mesoporous material were characterized, and FT-IR spectrum confirmed the presence of amine group and CHN analysis determined the amount of organic layer.

Background: Pressure ulcer remains as a common problem, especially developed in disabled patients and hence, subjected to continuous pressure for prolonged periods of time. Most of the studies investigating the preventive and therapeutic approaches have focused on wound cleansing, dressing and supportive strategies, as well as pharmacological therapy including zinc sulphate, vitamin A or phenytoin. Despite such efforts, pressure ulcer continues to impair the life quality and expectancy.
