Background: Drug-drug interactions between antiretroviral treatment (ART) and cytostatics may have a negative impact in the prognosis of people with HIV (PWH) and cancer.
Objective: The objective of this study is to evaluate the impact of the implementation of interdisciplinary management and the type of ART in PWH diagnosed with lymphoid neoplasms.
Methods: This is a multicentric, retrospective observational cohort study including PWH diagnosed with lymphoid neoplasm who started first-line chemotherapy between 2008 and 2020.
Objective: To document antiretroviral use in Latin America during the last decade.
Methods: We collected indicators from 79 HIV health care centres in 14 Latin American Spanish-speaking countries for 2013-2017. Indicators were analysed by age, sex and other characteristics and weighted by the estimated people under care (PUC) population in each country.
Hypovitaminosis D is frequent worldwide. In Argentina, according to studies conducted between 1987 and 2015, prevalence was > 40% in the general population. In people living with HIV it may vary between 20 and 90%, but the prevalence in our environment is not known.
