Background Of late, the interest in accelerated treatment protocols in repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) for the treatment of depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) has been gaining momentum. Studies have already found that the patterned theta burst stimulation is non-inferior to the standard high-frequency stimulation in treating depression. The objective of the present study was to evaluate the clinical efficacy of a customized accelerated combination TMS naturalistic setting.

Milk is a source of essential nutrients, but food safety across the milk supply chain has emerged as an integral part of food trade. Of the several food safety hazards, antimicrobial-resistant species have emerged as one of the major microbial hazards with significant public health concerns. The present crosssectional study was undertaken with the objective to isolate species from the milk supply chain, characterize isolates for antimicrobial resistance, and trace the origin of isolates using molecular techniques.

Objective To evaluate and compare the stability of the open tray impression coping within the set impression while attaching the lab analog when polyether (PE) heavy body and polyvinyl siloxane (PVS) putty impression materials were used and the implant platform was placed sub-gingivally at three different depths. Methods Two impression materials, PE and PVS, and custom-made plexiglass models with embedded single implants to simulate implant positioning depths of 0 mm, 2 mm, and 4 mm, sub-gingivally, were used in the study. Open tray impressions were made after attaching impression coping to the implant embedded in the model.

Labyrinthitis ossificans is the formation of pathological new bone within the membranous labyrinth of the inner ear due to various local and systemic pathologies. Most commonly it occurs as a sequelae of meningitis spreading to the labyrinth, from the subarachnoid space via the cochlear aqueduct and the internal auditory canal. We are comparing three different etiological presentations of labyrinthitis ossificans; namely, tympanogenic, meningitic, and traumatic, together with their management in the light of recent advances.

Purpose: Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are messenger pigeons of the cells that communicate about cellular microenvironment. In this study, we evaluated the expression of C8α and calpain-2 in EVs from vitreous of patients with bacterial endophthalmitis to assess its utility as a diagnostic marker.

Methods: EVs were isolated from vitreous of patients with bacterial endophthalmitis (culture positive and culture negative) and noninfectious control by exosome isolation reagent and characterized, and the levels of C8α and calpain-2 was assessed by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay in isolated EVs and direct vitreous.

Impacted teeth are those that fail to erupt at the typical age of eruption and remain enclosed in the maxilla or mandible, partially or completely surrounded by bone or soft tissues. Among these, third molars experience the highest incidence of impaction, with maxillary canines and mandibular bicuspids following closely. A 23-year-old female presented to the orthodontics department, expressing concerns about spacing issues in her upper and lower front teeth.

Background: Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) poses a significant healthcare challenge globally, necessitating precise biomarkers for effective management. Interleukin-6 (IL-6) in saliva has emerged as a potential biomarker, yet its dynamics post-chemotherapy and radiotherapy remain underexplored.

Aim: The aim of our study is to investigate the longitudinal dynamics of salivary interleukin-6 (IL-6) expression in postoperative OSCC patients over a one-year follow-up period after chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
