Unlabelled: was to evaluate the levels of mediators of the immune response, cellular immunity, and phagocytic activity in patients with chickenpox with various values of the clinical and laboratory parameters and propose criteria for predicting the severity and complications of the disease.

Materials And Methods: The blood levels of pro-inflammatory mediators were evaluated by ELISA using monoclonal antibodies (Protein Contour, Russia).

Results: The inflammatory mediators and neutrophil chemiluminescence were studied in patients with either presence or absence of DNA.

Aim: To determine levels of IL-1beta, IL-2, IL-4, IL-6, TNF-alpha, IFN-alpha, IFN-gamma in patients with chronic hepatitis C (CHC).

Material And Methods: Peripheral blood cytokines were measured with enzyme immunoassay (Protein contour kits, St-Petersburg).

Results: Higher content of IL-2, IFNa, IFNg was found in older patients with negative results of examination for HCV RNA, a/HCVcore IgM, a/HCV/ns3,5, genotype 3a, evidencing for higher reactivity of the immune system.

The purpose of the work was to study the levels of interleukin-1beta (IL-1beta), IL-2, IL-4, IL-6, tumor necrosis factor a (TNF-alpha), interferon alpha (IF-alpha), interferon gamma (IF-gamma), and the parameters of T-cell immunity in 70patients with acute hepatitis C (AHC). The content of cytokines in peripheral blood was determined by immune-enzyme technique using test systems produced by Proteinovy Kontur (Saint-Petersburg). Evaluation of T-cell reacting (CD4, CD8, CD16, and CD20) was done using a kit of mono- and polyclonal antibodies for human T-lymphocyte, B-lymphocyte, T-helper, T-killer-suppressor, and NK-lymphocyte detection with immunofluorescence technique, produced by Sorbent, Podolsk.

Study of cytokines spectrum in 32 patients with acute hepatitis C (AHC) treated with combined antiviral therapy (CAT) was performed. 30 patients with acute HCV-infection treated with basic treatment were followed also and formed control group. Levels of mediators of immune response in sera were measured by ELISA.

The spectrum ofcytokines was studied in 32 patients with acute hepatitis C (AHC) on combined antiviral therapy (A VT) with realdiron plus ribavirin and in 30 patients with acute HCVinfection on basic therapy (control group). The content of immune response mediators in blood serum was measured by immune enzyme assay using test systems produced by Proteinovy Konntur (Saint Petersburg). AHC patients on A VT displayed a more prominent decrease in the levels of interleukins (IL-1beta, IL-6), tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha) vs.

Aim: To study the cytokine spectrum (IL-1beta, IL-2, IL-4, IL-6, TNF-alpha, interferon-alpha, interferon gamma) in patients with acute hepatitis C (AHC).

Material And Methods: Peripheral blood from 70 AHC patients was studied for cytokines using enzyme immunoassay (kits made by Protein contur, St-Petersburg). RESULTS.

Aim: To evaluate the trend in content of IL-1, 2, 4, 6, TNF-alpha, interferon-alpha (Inf-alpha) and gamma (Inf-g) in the serum of patients with chronic hepatitis C (CHC) in the course of treatment with Inf-alpha.

Material And Methods: The study included 30 patients with CHC (20 males and 10 females) and 25 healthy controls. Markers of CHC were detected with enzyme immunoassay, RNA--with polymerase chain reaction.

Levels of cytokines (IL-1, IL-2, IL-4, IL-6, TNF) were studied in 22 patients with chronic hepatitis C (CHC) under different value of histological activity index (HAI). Cytokines were measured in peripheral blood by enzyme immunoassay using kits produced by Proteinovy Kontur (St-Petersburg). Morphological examination of hepatic biopsies was made with estimation of HAI by R.

To evaluate content of interleukines (IL-1, IL-2, IL-4 and IL-6) and tumor necrosis factor (TNF) in patients with chronic hepatitis C (CHC), 72 CHC patients (37 males and 35 females, mean age 37.2 +/- 4.8 years) were examined.
