Purpose: Individuals with metastatic breast cancer (MBC) may live with their disease for many years. We initiated the Johns Hopkins Hope at Hopkins Clinic to assess the needs and optimize the care of these patients.
Patients And Methods: Patients with MBC who agreed to participate in the Clinic in addition to usual care completed patient-reported outcome (PRO) surveys.
Pharmacists are highly accessible healthcare professionals with presence in communities, hospitals, and clinics. They are well positioned to expand their roles in supporting individuals with mental health challenges. A cross-sectional study was conducted to identify trends in how pharmacists assess, monitor, identify, and care for patients with mental health challenges.

This study examines whether routine patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) during OTVs change physicians' perceptions of treatment-toxicity and inform symptom-management.
Patient And Methods: IMPROVE is a single-arm prospective multicenter trial, conducted from 2020 to 2023.

Background: The pharmacy workforce is evolving rapidly, and while national data reveal broad trends, they often overlook the impact of state-level policies on local pharmacy practice and education.
Objective: To describe employment status and patient care roles of pharmacists in Washington State.
Methods: A cross-sectional survey of pharmacists licensed in Washington State was conducted in June-July 2023.
Introduction: Adverse perinatal outcomes (APO) pose a significant global challenge, particularly in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). This study aims to analyse two cohorts of high-risk pregnant women for APO to comprehend risk factors and improve prediction accuracy.
Methods: We considered an LMIC and a high-income country (HIC) population to derive XGBoost classifiers to predict low birth weight (LBW) from a comprehensive set of maternal and fetal characteristics including socio-demographic, past and current pregnancy information, fetal biometry and fetoplacental Doppler measurements.
Ovarian cancer is the leading cause of death among gynecologic malignancies. Despite recent advancements in targeted therapies such as PARP inhibitors, recurrence is common and frequently resistant to existing therapies. A powerful diagnostic tool, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of its implications, is crucial.

Such SUEPs are predicted by hidden valley models with a new, confining force with a large 't Hooft coupling. In events with boosted topologies, selected by high-threshold hadronic triggers, the multiplicity and sphericity of clustered tracks are used to reject the background from standard model quantum chromodynamics.

In 2022, the Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound (SRU) also released their guidelines. We compared the two sets to determine the differences in management and outcomes for GBPs.

Infection of newborn mice with murine (M)CMV is an established model of neuropathology caused by congenital CMV infection, with recent work suggesting that brain pathology may be driven by immune responses. In the eye, however, CMV retinitis is thought to result from virus-driven necrosis in the absence of T cell responses.

Some insurers may not reimburse for cryoablation in this context, contending that it's an experimental procedure. This study aimed to describe national trends in cryoablation use and evaluate outcomes and predictors of its use.

The underlying neural circuitry for this coordinated behavioral and neuroendocrine control is not well established. Prior studies pointed to a neural projection from the ventral subiculum (vSub) to the bed nucleus of the stria terminalis (BNST) that can inhibit the HPA axis response to stress.

The data are compatible with the predicted background. For the first time, an upper limit at the 95% confidence level of 6.

Few studies describe approaches that intentionally and simultaneously address these issues.
Program: This paper examines activities of 15 sites across the country that were designed to simultaneously prevent ACEs, SUD, and overdose.
Background: Chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN), a common problem, can impair function and quality of life in patients, potentially limiting chemotherapy and adversely affecting outcomes.
Methods: This trial compared investigational hand therapy intervention (Investigational) compared with a traditional occupational therapy approach (Traditional) to prevent CIPN in patients with pancreatic cancer receiving gemcitabine and albumin-bound paclitaxel containing regimens.
Results: forty-nine patients were enrolled with 40 evaluable for statistical analysis (21 Investigational/19 Traditional).
Using proton-proton collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of collected by the CMS experiment at , the decay is observed for the first time, with a statistical significance exceeding 5 standard deviations. The relative branching fraction, with respect to the decay, is measured to be , where the first uncertainty is statistical, the second is systematic, and the third is related to the uncertainties in and .

This report aimed to describe the utilization of FH screening services from 2013 to 2022 according to rurality and socioeconomic deprivation among Latinas in Georgia.
Methods: Women who attended a medical appointment at participating Georgia Public Health Clinics were invited to complete FH screening.
The results of a combined grazing incidence wide-angle X-ray scattering (GIWAXS) and 4D scanning transmission microscopy (4D-STEM) analysis of the effects of thermal processing on poly(3[2-(2-methoxyethoxy)ethoxy]-methylthiophene-2,5-diyl) are reported, a conjugated semiconducting polymer used as the active layer in organic electrochemical transistor devices. GIWAXS provides a measure of overall crystallinity in the film, while 4D-STEM produces real-space maps of the morphology and orientation of individual crystallites along with their spatial extent and distribution. The sensitivity of the 4D-STEM detector allows for collection of electron diffraction patterns at each position in an image scan while limiting the imparted electron dose to below the damage threshold.

An energetic plasticizer based on the insensitive highly explosive 3-amino-5-nitro-l,2,4-triazole (ANTA) was synthesized and characterized by spectroscopy, X-ray crystallography, thermal analyses, and safety testing. Lastly, density functional theory calculations were employed to examine the observed selectivity among the three nucleophilic ring nitrogen atoms of ANTA toward electrophiles such as ANTA acrylate; this selectivity was found to be a combination of steric, electronic, and hydrogen bonding effects.
