New Pd(II)-pincer type complexes as potential antitumor drugs: synthesis, nucleophilic substitution reactions, DNA/HSA interaction, molecular docking study and cytotoxic activity.

Two new complexes of Pd(II), [Pd(L1)Cl]Cl (Pd1) and [Pd(L2)Cl]Cl (Pd2), (where L1 = ,-bis(5-methylthiazol-2-yl)pyridine-2,6-dicarboxamide and L2 = ,-di(benzo[]thiazol-2-yl)pyridine-2.6-dicarboxamide) were synthesized. Characterization of the complexes was performed using elemental analysis, IR, H NMR spectroscopy and MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry.

Exploring the Association between Socioeconomic Environment, Eating Habits and Level of Nutrition in Children of High School Age: A Part of National Survey.

Background/objectives: One of the raising public health problems in the adolescent population is obesity, which has reached epidemic proportions worldwide. The aim of this work is to determine the prevalence of obesity in the population of children of secondary school, age 15 to 19 years in Serbia and the determinate connection with demographic and socio-economic characteristics of the respondents and their eating habits and physical activity.

Methods: The research is part of the fourth National Population Health Survey conducted in 2019, which was conducted by the Republic Institute of Statistics, in cooperation with the Institute of Public Health of Serbia and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia.

Since the end of 2019, the global spread of COVID-19 has represented a historic event that changed our way of treating patients globally. The use of long-acting injections (LAI) antipsychotics was emphasized. Our goal was to investigate the impact of COVID-19 on the frequency of prescribing LAI and compare it with a period before.

Metastatic Breast Cancer Presenting as Acute Appendicitis: A Rare Case Study and Review of Current Knowledge.

Rituximab in the therapy of stage III and IV follicular lymphoma: Results of the REFLECT 1 study of the Serbian Lymphoma Group.

Purpose: Follicular lymphoma (FL) is an indolent lymphoma that responds well to rituximab+chemotherapy. We evaluated the prognosis and efficacy of immunochemotherapy in patients with previously untreated, advanced FL.

Methods: REFLECT 1 is a multicentre, prospective study of 99 patients with previously untreated FL stage III-IV.
