Treatment outcome among Post TB obstructive airways diseases and COPD: A prospective cohort study.

Context: Post Tubercular Obstructive Airways Diseases (Post-TB OAD) is a sequela of Pulmonary TB but diseases progression may not same like Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Diseases (COPD).

Aim: To compare the frequency and severity of exacerbations, change of FEV1, frequency of hospitalization and mortality among COPD and post TB OAD patients.

Setting And Design: Hospital-based prospective cohort study.

3 D Co (PO ) -Reduced Graphene Oxide Flowers for Photocatalytic Water Splitting: A Type II Staggered Heterojunction System.

The design, synthesis, and photoelectrochemical characterization of Co (PO ) , a hydrogen evolving catalyst modified with reduced graphene oxide (RGO), is reported. The 3 D flowerlike Co (PO ) heterojunction system, consisting of 3 D flowerlike Co (PO ) and RGO sheets, was synthesized by a one-pot in situ photoassisted method under visible-light irradiation, which was achieved without the addition of surfactant or a structure-directing reagent. For the first time, Co (PO ) is demonstrated to act as a hydrogen evolving catalyst rather than being used as an oxygen evolving photoanode.

Enhanced photocatalytic activity and charge carrier dynamics of hetero-structured organic-inorganic nano-photocatalysts.

P3HT-coupled CdS heterostructured nanophotocatalysts have been synthesized by an inexpensive and scalable chemical bath deposition approach followed by drop casting. The presence of amorphous regions corresponding to P3HT in addition to the lattice fringes [(002) and (101)] corresponding to hexagonal CdS in the HRTEM image confirm the coupling of P3HT onto CdS. The shift of π* (C═C) and σ* (C-C) peaks toward lower energy losses and prominent presence of σ* (C-H) in the case of P3HT-CdS observed in electron energy loss spectrum implies the formation of heterostructured P3HT-CdS.
