A Novel Approach to Repositioning and Stabilization of a Luxated Tooth With Displacement Using a 3D Printed Guide.

The management of traumatic dental injury aims at functional and esthetic rehabilitation. After luxation injury, a displaced tooth must be replaced into its normal position as soon as possible. Incorrect tooth repositioning can cause discomfort to the patient and compromise the outcome.

Incidentally Detected Hypermetabolism in Pons Suggestive of Pontine Myelinolysis on 18F-FDG PET/CT Scan.

Central pontine myelinolysis (CPM) is demyelinating condition of pons caused by osmotic stress due to rapid correction of hyponatremia. We present a case where CPM was an incidental finding on FDG PET/CT scan. To the best of our knowledge, only 3 case reports have been published till date describing CPM on 18F-FDG PET/CT scans.

Incidentally Detected 18F-PSMA Uptake in Glomus Jugulare.

PSMA (prostate-specific membrane antigen) PET/CT scan is the imaging modality of choice for staging and restaging of carcinoma prostate. Although initially thought to be a tracer with high specificity for prostatic tissue, with its extensive clinical use, there has been a rise in published literature citing its uptake in nonprostatic conditions. We present a case where false-positive PSMA uptake was noted in glomus jugulare during staging workup for carcinoma prostate.

Migrated esophageal stent posing a challenge for ventilation.

Self-expandable esophageal stents are being commonly used for palliative treatment in advanced esophageal cancer patients to relieve dysphagia, prevent tracheoesophageal fistula, and facilitate symptomatic betterment. The modern covered stents reduce the ingrowth of the tumor but have seen an increase in the incidence of stent migrations. We report a rather complicated presentation of an esophageal stent for esophageal dilatation and a challenging management of a difficult tracheostomy.

Regional odontodysplasia: Report of an unusual case involving mandibular arch.

Regional odontodysplasia (RO) is a rare developmental anomaly involving both mesodermal and ectodermal components in primary or permanent dentition. It affects the maxilla and the mandible or both; however, maxilla is more commonly involved. This article reports the case of 33-month-old boy who came with the chief complaint of delayed eruption of mandibular teeth.
