Morphology of Mandibular Incisors: A Study on CBCT.

Background: The aim of the study was to identify the number of root canals and examine root canal morphology of permanent mandibular incisors in an Indian sub-population of Pune, Maharashtra, India using cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT).

Material/methods: This study was conducted at Elite CBCT & Dental Diagnostics, Pune. One hundred mandibular incisors were evaluated for the number of root, root canals and root morphology.

A comparative study of oral candidal carriage and its association with CD4 count between HIV-positive and healthy individuals.

Aims And Objectives: To correlate asymptomatic oral candidal carriage in HIV-positive patients and normal individuals and determine its association with CD4 count.

Material And Methods: Forty HIV-positive patients and forty healthy individuals were included in this study. Saliva from both groups was collected by the spitting method.
