Optimization of metal polymer friction pair composition for hydrogen wear reduction through thermal stabilization analysis.

The composition of the metal-polymer friction pair is carefully considered for interacting with water and hydrogen, ensuring the metals electrode process potential remains below waters in a neutral medium. Simultaneously, adherence to defined chemical composition ratios for the metal-polymer materials is crucial. This analysis is conducted under conditions of thermal stabilization, characterized by a minimal temperature gradient across the rim thickness within an equivalent thermal field.

[Changes in clinical indices in patients in predisposition for pathological cicatrices formation].

Prophylaxis of ocurrence of pathological cutaneous cicatrices is one of actual problems of plastic surgery of head and neck. Cicatricial changes of tissues, as a consequence of operative interventions and various damaging causes (mechanical, thermal and chemical impact, ionizing irradiation, deep destructive inflammation), were depicted. Propensity for formation of pathological cicatrices we consider as the organism state, in which cicatricial changes occur as an answer for minimal trauma or spontaneously.

Serological anthrax surveillance in wild boar (Sus scrofa) in Ukraine.

Anthrax, caused by Bacillus anthracis, is an acute disease affecting wildlife, livestock, and humans worldwide, although its impact on these populations is underappreciated. In Ukraine, surveillance is passive, and anthrax is often detected in livestock. However, wildlife is not subject to surveillance, although anthrax deaths (such as in wild boar, Sus scrofa) have been documented.

Anthrax in a backyard domestic dog in Ukraine: a case report.

Anthrax has been reported in domestic and wild dogs throughout much of the world. Generally, canids are considered resistant to anthrax, although there are several reports of anthrax deaths in both wild and domestic canid populations. Prior to 2012, anthrax had not been reported in dogs in Ukraine, despite a long history in livestock and wildlife.
