Background: In this paper, we focus on an efficient and easy method for solving the given system of differential-algebraic equations (DAEs) of second order.
Methods: The approximate solutions are computed rapidly and efficiently with the help of a semi-analytical method known as Adomian decomposition method (ADM). The logic of this method is simple and straightforward to understand.
Background and objective The objective of this study is to evaluate and compare the surrogate and true end points following surgical periodontal therapy using the Oral Health Impact Profile-14 (OHIP-14) questionnaire. Materials and methods The study included a total of 30 participants, comprising 15 males and 15 females aged between 25 and 50 years. All individuals who had undergone periodontal flap surgery for generalized chronic periodontitis at the Department of Periodontology, Saveetha Dental College and Hospitals were included in the study.

This project intends to improve women's performance, independence, and quality of life by using meta-cognitive strategy-based activities to improve executive functioning and their capacity to maintain social networks. The ultimate objective is to keep older women's cognitive abilities from declining and to give them more independence in carrying out essential everyday tasks.

A supervised trial in Devarayapuram village, Coimbatore, assessed the CO chili variety (December-March 2018-2019). Using the Quick, Easy, Cheap, Effective, Rugged, and Safe (QuEChERS) method and ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC), samples were collected up to 15 d post-application.

The study investigates the bioactivity of secondary metabolites derived from PSMS6 isolated from marine soil sediment in the Velar estuary, Parangepattai, Cuddalore district, Tamil Nadu, and India. Strains were isolated and antagonistic activity was screened using the agar well diffusion method.

The photoluminescence (PL) intensity of several nanoclusters showed a systematic temperature-dependent fluctuation, but the mechanism remains ambiguous and is poorly understood. We tried to shed some light on this mechanistic aspect by testing a couple of hypotheses: (i) conformational fluctuation of the protein scaffold-mediated PL intensity fluctuation and (ii) PL intensity fluctuation due to the variation in the radiative and nonradiative transition rates.

There is a lacuna in the current neck pain management guidelines addressing movement-specific mechanical diagnosis. MSI is based on the movement-specific mechanical diagnosis and kinesiopathologic model.

The probe was obtained by the condensation of 2-(3,5,5-trimethylcyclohex-2-en-1-ylidene)malononitrile with 4-hydroxybenzaldehyde. Upon interaction with tyrosinase, the probe exhibited absorbance switching from 417 nm to 357 nm, accompanied by a slight increase in absorption value and an isosbestic point observed at 373 nm.

Background: The prognosis of lung carcinoma has changed since the discovery of molecular targets and their specific drugs. Somatic Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor () mutations have been reported in lung carcinoma, and these mutant proteins act as substrates for targeted therapies. However, in a resource-constrained country like India, panel-based next-generation sequencing cannot be made available to the population at large.

While it poses no inherent health risks, the visible discoloration may cause psychological distress for individuals seeking optimal dental aesthetics. Understanding the efficacy of various methods is essential for refining treatment strategies and enhancing patient satisfaction in the realm of gingival depigmentation (GD).

It is a clinical and diagnostic challenge, and a confirmed histological diagnosis would indicate nonoperative management, thus avoiding unwarranted surgery and associated morbidity. Tuberculosis of the salivary gland is a relatively rare extrapulmonary manifestation of tuberculosis, with the incidence of tuberculous parotitis being 2%-9%.

The most probable cause of this pathological lesion is degenerative articular disorders of the joint and improper fat accumulation. It is characterized by presence of villous proliferation of the synovium and replacement of the sub-synovial tissue by mature adipocytes which is infiltrated by dense chronic inflammatory cells like lymphocytes, plasma cells and eosinophils.

The significance of early detection cannot be overstated, prompting the use of various screening methods such as Pap smears, colposcopy, and Human Papillomavirus (HPV) testing to identify potential risks and initiate timely intervention. These screening procedures encompass visual inspections, Pap smears, colposcopies, biopsies, and HPV-DNA testing, each demanding the specialized knowledge and skills of experienced physicians and pathologists due to the inherently subjective nature of cancer diagnosis.

Careful consideration of demographic and clinicopathological features is required to understand the association between the cause and severity of pancreatitis in various populations, and such crucial information is lacking for Jharkhand's population. Here, we sought to describe the demographic and clinicopathological features of gallstone-induced acute pancreatitis at a tertiary hospital in Ranchi.

According to the World Health Organization, about 1 % of the global population has been diagnosed with PD, and this figure is expected to double by 2040. Early and accurate diagnosis of PD is critical to slowing down the progression of the disease and reducing long-term disability.

Frontal bone defects may arise secondary to various causes like trauma, congenital defects including craniofacial clefts, tumors in the frontal bone requiring surgical intervention, and infections, like osteomyelitis, that cause osteonecrosis of the frontal bone. Reconstruction of frontal bone has been explored in the literature, and various materials are available for rehabilitation, like auto/allografts, and alloplastic materials, including bone cement, titanium meshes, and patient-specific implant (PSI).
