The effects of strategy training on spatial memory in diencephalic amnesia: a randomized controlled study.

Alcoholic Korsakoff's syndrome is characterized by severe amnesia, also affecting spatial memory. To date, research on cognitive rehabilitation in these patients is scarce. Aim of the present study is to examine the efficacy of a mnemonic strategy training in patients with Korsakoff's syndrome.
