[Reproductive health disorders in night shift workers (review of literature)].

The review considers problems of reproductive health disorders in night shift workers. In materials of national and foreign authors, ambiguous opinions are presented on the influence, such as on reproductive sphere malignancies development in shift workers. Data of experimental and clnical laboratory studies are presented, that support reproductive pathologies connected with night shift work.

There was studied the state of health of females in modern sector employment: office workers (group 1) and managers (group 2), and the health of their newborns. [Prevention and protection of workers' reproductive health].

[Association of polymorph variants of CYP1A2 and CYP1A1 genes with reproductive and thyroid diseases in female workers of petrochemical industry].

The article presents results obtained in study of relationship between polymorph variants of CYP1A1 and CYP1A2 genes with reproductive and thyroid diseases risk in female workers of petrochemical industry, when compared with reference group females. Variants TD and DD of CYP1A2 gene appeared to be associated with nodes formation in uterus and breast in female workers and reference group females. Following liability markers are obtained: homozygous in rare allele genotype CC of CYP1A1 gene for reproductive and thyroid diseaes (fibrous cystic mastopathy and nodular goitre), heterozygous genotype AG of CYP1A1 gene in uterine myoma and fibrous cystic mastopathy, homozygous in deleted T genotype of CYP1A2 gene in autoimmune thyroiditis.

The problem of workers reproductive health protection from harmful occupational and environmental exposures is amongst the national priorities due to demographic situation in Russia and decrease of the manpower. Some issues of women's reproductive health disorders are considered from occupational health standpoint. The demographic and epidemiological data on pregnancy course and outcome, birth defects, children's morbidity etc.

[Clinical and genetic criteria of reproductive health disorders in female workers engaged into organic synthesis production].

Chemicals in the air of workplace within organic synthesis enterprises could induce reproductive disorders in the female workers. Analysis of polymorphous variants of P450 cytochrome gens and antioxidant defence system helped to reveal genetic markers for risk of reproductive disorders in the female examinees.

[Molecular markers of ejaculate fertility in officers of Internal Affairs Ministry Special Forces, if under battle stress].

The article presents results of studies in males participated in anti-terrorist military operations in local conflict areas. Findings are intact general spermogram parameters with lower serum and/or ejaculate levels of glycodeline and inhibin B--that is a precondition for high risk reproductive disorders under battle stress.

The article covers problem of occupational and environmental hazards' influence on reproductive health. The authors present topics on preservation of reproductive health in international systems of chemical safety.

[Work conditions and health state of female medical staffers].

The authors studied work conditions of medical personnel and health state including reproductivity, according to periodic medical examinations data, transitory disablement morbidity, occupational morbidity, questioning, clinical, laboratory and instrumental investigations. Reproductive health was assessed through gynecologic observations, course of pregnancy and delivery, the authors evaluated their relationships with work and identified risk groups for target prophylaxis.

The legal and ethical issues related with the protection of population reproductive health, under the conditions of anthropogenic contamination of the environment, including the labor environment, are discussed in the article. A concept of pregnancy planning to ensure a healthy posterity under the mentioned conditioned was formulated. Documents of WHO, ILO and the EU experience in dealing with the issues in question are illustrated.

[Psycho-emotional profile of personality among teenage girls living in the Volgograd industrial region].

Social, economic and other factors appeared to form psychoemotional personal profile of teenager girls living in significant industrial region subjected to pollution with chemicals varying in jeopardy. The studies proved that ecologic factors may play an important role in formation of psychoemotional personal profile. All this could be a pathogenetic basis for endocrine disorders among teenagers and subsequent reproductive disturbances and birth of diseased children.
