- The study assessed the safety and effectiveness of transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) in patients with aortic stenosis, particularly those with mid-range ejection fraction (ASmrEF), compared to those with reduced (ASrEF) and preserved (ASpEF) ejection fractions.
- Findings showed that ASmrEF patients experienced significant improvement in ejection fraction and left ventricular dimensions one year after the procedure, while ASrEF patients also improved but ASpEF patients did not show any change.
