Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is accompanied by numerous metabolic derangements due to risk factors such as oxidative stress, chronic inflammation, and endothelial dysfunction. Insulin resistance (IR) has been reported as an independent risk factor for cardiovascular morbidity and mortality in patients with CKD. As reported from previous studies, it has been shown that IR is also seen in mild-to-moderate stages of CKD.

Aim: This study aims to comparatively evaluate the burden, coping mechanisms, and QOL among caregivers of HD and PD undergoing and RT patients.
Setting And Design: Tertiary care hospital, cross-sectional and descriptive study.
The reports of glomerular lesions of kidney due to tuberculosis are sparse. A 48-year-old gentleman, presented with swelling of feet of 3 months duration. As he had renal impairment, proteinuria and normal-sized kidneys, he was subjected to renal biopsy.
