Objectives: The objective of the study is to develop an automatic drug infusion control system during cardiovascular surgery.

Materials And Methods: Based on the clinical drug dosage analysis, the modeling of cardiovascular system with baroreceptor model is mathematically modeled using compartmental approach, considering the relationship between the volume and flow rate of blood during each heartbeat. This model is then combined with drug modeling of noradrenaline and nitroglycerine by deriving the volume and drug mass concentration equations, based on pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of the drugs.

A facile method was approached to synthesize a new series of highly porous polyethylene glycol (PEG) and Ag-ZnO (AZO) grafted polyaniline (PANI) nanocomposites (PAPE/AZO) for investigation of the adsorption behavior of brilliant green dye (BG). The compositions of Ag (1, 3 and 5%) in AZO were varied to assess the influence of bimetallic oxide incorporation. The nanocomposites were characterized by FTIR, XRD, SEM and TEM analyses.

Polymeric nanocomposites polyaniline-polyvinylpyrrolidone (PAPV) and polyaniline-polyvinylpyrrolidone-neodymium/zinc oxide (PAPV-NZO) were synthesized for the effective dye removal through adsorption process. Neodymium doped zinc oxide (NZO) with various proportions of neodymium were prepared by chemical co-precipitation method and incorporated into the copolymer matrix via oxidative polymerization technique. NZO nanoparticles were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and the morphological features, and functional group linkages of the PAPV-NZO were confirmed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) analyses.

Novel polyvinyl pyrrolidone capped pure, Ag (1-3%) and Cu doped (1-3%) zinc oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles (NPs) were successfully synthesized via the co-precipitation method. The synthesized NPs were characterized by UV-visible spectrophotometry, X-ray diffraction (XRD), energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) and field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM). Compared to pure ZnO, the absorption bands of Ag and Cu doped ZnO NPs were shifted and, further, the band gap energy was also decreased which confirms the incorporation of Ag and Cu into the ZnO lattice.

TiO2 nanoparticles have been synthesized from the inorganic precursor Ti [OC3H7]4via sol-gel technique. Similarly, ZnO nanoparticles have also been synthesized from zinc sulfate precursor using precipitation method. The prepared nanoparticles was characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) techniques to study the morphology, structural configuration and its functionality.
