Solid polymer electrolytes (SPEs) for symmetrical supercapacitors are proposed herein with activated carbon as electrodes and optimized solid polymer electrolyte membranes, which serve as the separators and electrolytes. We propose the design of a low-cost solid polymer electrolyte consisting of guanidinium nitrate (GuN) and poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) with poly(vinylpyrrolidone) (PVP). Using the solution casting approach, blended polymer electrolytes with varying GuN weight percentage ratios of PVP and PEO are prepared.

Fourier transform infrared, nuclear magnetic resonance, ultraviolet-visible, electron paramagnetic resonance, and high-resolution electrospray ionization mass spectrometry and powder X-ray diffraction were used to characterize the synthesized HL and its metal complexes. Conductance measurements, magnetic moment estimation, and metal estimation have all been determined and discussed.

Various weight percentages of GuC enriched PVP/PEO solid polymer electrolytes (SPEs) have been prepared by the simplest solution casting process. XRD analysis revealed that the incorporation of the GuC salt led to changes in the crystalline structure of the PVP/PEO.

The harvested single crystals were utilized for various characterization studies like powder X-ray diffraction, optical transmission, photoluminescence, laser damage study and optical limiting studies. The visualization of varying potential regions on the surfaces to quantify short contacts were generated by Hirshfeld surface analysis.

Materials And Methods: We performed a cross sectional study of the adult patients of chronic kidney disease stage 5 without dialysis and on dialysis who survived cardiac arrest by cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) as per ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) guidelines and who sustained pulseless ventricular tachycardia/ventricular fibrillation and received CPR and/or direct cardioversion.
Introduction: Thrombosis of fistula occurs most frequently in end-stage kidney disease (ESKD) patients receiving hemodialysis. However, the role of thrombophilia in arteriovenous fistula (AVF) failure has not been well established. Hence, this study was aimed at assessing the roles of hereditary and acquired thrombophilic factors in association with AVF failure among patients with ESKD undergoing hemodialysis.

Aims And Objectives: To evaluate the current knowledge of school going adolescents on reproductive health and its association with their socio demographic profile and determining their behaviour and understanding of school sex education.
Methodology: A cross sectional analysis was carried out in 2 private schools at Chennai among the students of 9 to 12 standard.
The Cu₂ZnSnS₄ (CZTS) thin films have been prepared at different deposition cycles, deposited on a glass substrate by successive ionic layer adsorption and reaction (SILAR) method followed by the annealing process at elevated temperature. The investigations on the films have been carried out to understand and confirm its structure, functional group present, crystalline morphology, optical and electrochemical behavior. The powder X-ray diffraction patterns recorded indicate that the deposited films are formed in the tetragonal structure.

The Marakkanam salt pan in South India is characterized with a high fluctuation in salinity (19-490 ppt), Ultravioletradiation, and heavy metal concentrations. Several bacterial species have been isolated and identified in the view of phylogenetic analysis and for the subsequent production of industrially important enzymes.

Amino-pyridine and phthalic acid are well known synthons for supra-molecular architectures for the synthesis of new materials for optical applications. The 2-amino-pyridinium hydrogen phthalate title salt, CHN ·CHO , crystallizes in the non-centrosymmetric space group 2. The nitro-gen atom of the -NH group in the cation deviates from the fitted pyridine plane by 0.

The dopant concentration-dependent enhancement in length and diameter of the nanorods had established the phosphorus doping in ZnO nanorods. The gradual transformation in the type of conductivity as observed from the variation of carrier concentration and Hall coefficient had further confirmed the phosphorus doping.

However, the restricted and saturated color range in micro/nano-fabricated structural 'pigments' has hindered the dissemination of structural color printing. Here, this article presents a spectral mixing color filter (SMCF), which is the concept of fine-tunable color systems, capable of addressing the current issues in structural color engineering, by stacking a vertical silicon nanowire array embedded in a transparent polymer onto ultrathin optical coating layers.

However, the limited color range with current approaches has interrupted the supply for upcoming structural colorimetric applications. Here, we suggest a strategy for the widening of the color gamut by linear combination of two different resonance modes originating from silicon nanowire arrays (Si NWAs) and metal-insulator-metal nanoresonators.

We present a detailed study of thermal and electrical transport behavior of single crystal titanium disulphide flakes, which belong to the two dimensional, transition metal dichalcogenide class of materials. In-plane Seebeck effect measurements revealed a typical metal-like linear temperature dependence in the range of 85-285 K. Electrical transport measurements with in-plane current geometry exhibited a nearly T dependence of resistivity in the range of 42-300 K.
