Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a type of brain developmental disability that cannot be completely treated, but its impact can be reduced through early interventions. Early identification of neurological disorders will better assist in preserving the subjects' physical and mental health. Although numerous research works exist for detecting autism spectrum disorder, they are cumbersome and insufficient for dealing with real-time datasets.

Study Design: This was a retrospective study of all pregnant and postpartum individuals with a diagnosis of preeclampsia, superimposed preeclampsia, HELLP (hemolysis, elevated liver enzymes, low platelet) syndrome, or eclampsia who delivered at 22 weeks or greater at a single academic institution from 2010 to 2020. Inclusion criteria were patients with preeclampsia who developed severe hypertension (systolic pressure ≥160 mm Hg or diastolic pressure ≥110 mm Hg) and received antihypertensive medications for acute severe hypertension.
Background: In order for low and middle income countries (LMIC) to transition to Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) test based cervical cancer screening, a greater understanding of how to implement these evidence based interventions (EBI) among vulnerable populations is needed. This paper documents outcomes of an implementation research on HPV screening among women from tribal, rural, urban slum settings in India.
Methods: A mixed-method, pragmatic, quasi-experimental trial design was used.
(Ashwagandha) also called as Indian ginseng, a revered herb from Indian traditional system of medicine is a rejuvenator and tonic () used for its varied benefits. The roots of ashwagandha exhibit properties like anti-inflammatory, aphrodisiac, anthelmintic, astringent, diuretic, stimulant and thermogenic. However, data of ashwagandha on its mutagenic effects are lacking.

The changes in the immune system are strongly associated with age and provoke the deterioration of the individual's health. Traditional medical practices in ancient India effectively deal with COVID-19 by boosting natural immunity through medicinal plants.

Therefore, the aim of this study was to obtain safety data for KSM-66 Ashwagandha Root Extract (ARE) through repeated-dose toxicity in Wistar rats according to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) test guideline (TG 408). ARE was orally administered to rats at doses of 0, 500, 1000, and 2000 mg/kg body weight/day for 90-day and reversibility of effects of 0 and 2000 mg/kg body weight/day was assessed for 14 days.

The detection of specific abnormalities, targeted therapy selection, prognosis, and monitoring of treatment effectiveness over time are all made possible by circulating free DNA (cfDNA) analysis. The proposed study will detect specific genetic abnormalities from the plasma cfDNA of a female breast cancer patient by sequencing a cancer-related gene panel (MGM455 - Oncotrack Ultima), including 56 theranostic genes (SNVs and small INDELs).

Participants And Methods: A convenience sample of low-income women (N = 286) in a medium-sized city in South-India participated in a mixed-methods, exploratory study in 2022. Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval was received from Loma Linda University in the US, and Christian Medical College-Vellore in India, in accordance with the declaration of Helsinki, prior to data collection.
Chronic, non-healing wounds pose a serious public health issue and the need for new treatment methods is paramount. Dehydrated human amnion/chorion membrane has potential wound healing properties, due to the enrichment of growth factors and anti-inflammatory properties. However, its auxiliary advantage on diabetic wounds with demonstrated safety and efficacy in animal models has not been extensively documented.

Methylmalonic acidemia (MMA) is a rare genetic disorder affecting multiple body systems. We aimed to investigate the pathogenic mutations in MMAA that are associated with isolated methylmalonic acidemia to identify the structural behavior of MMAA upon mutation. The algorithms such as PredictSNP, iStable, ConSurf, and Align GVGD were employed to analyze the consequence of the mutations.

While genetic studies have revealed several critical genes and diagnostic biomarkers associated with MS, the etiology of the disease remains poorly understood. This study is aimed at screening and identifying the key genes and canonical pathways associated with MS.

In recent years, advances in pathway understanding, methods for discovering novel genetic biomarkers, and new drugs designed to inhibit the signaling cascades have enabled clinicians to personalize therapy for NSCLC.

Though vaccines are currently available, the evolution and mutations in the SARS-CoV-2 threaten available vaccines' significance. The drugs are still undergoing clinical trials, and certain medications are approved for "emergency use" or as an "off-label" drug during the pandemic.

Catalyzing the last reaction in the Leloir pathway, UDP-galactose-4-epimerase catalyzes the interconversion of UDP-galactose and UDP-glucose. This study aimed to use in-depth computational strategies to prioritize the pathogenic missense mutations in GALE protein and investigate the systemic behavior, conformational spaces, atomic motions, and cross-correlation matrix of the GALE protein.

Initially, the Cissus quadrangularis fibers were chemically treated with 5% Sodium hydroxide (NaOH) and 5% magnesium carbonate (MgCO) to improvise the properties of the fiber. The mechanical test result shows that chemically treated 5% MgCO fiber show that 4% and 24% improved tensile strength compared to NaOH and untreated ones.
