Surgical Intervention in Allergic Rhinitis: Stuffy Versus Sneezy Runny Nose.

To detect proportion and surgical outcome of adult patients with allergic rhinitis non-responsive to medical treatment. To identify clinical candidacy for submucous turbinoplasty of inferior turbinate resection or soft tissue reduction. A prospective descriptive study of adults with clinical allergic rhinitis was done.

Management of an Unusual Tracheoesophageal Party Wall Foreign Body.

Introduction:  Penetration injury to the neck constitutes 5-10% of all trauma cases. Penetration of a foreign body into the trachea with subsequent impaction into the tracheoesophageal party wall is extremely rare. We present a patient with an unusual penetrating injury of the neck caused by a metallic foreign body embedded into the tracheoesophageal party wall, and its management.

Thyroglossal cysts are one of the most common midline neck masses. They usually present as midline painless cystic neck mass in the first three decades of life. These anomalies are very rare in elderly patients and may pose difficult diagnostic and therapeutic challenges.
