As genetic testing becomes increasingly accessible and affordable, the uniform and accurate interpretation of genetic variants becomes essential. The ACMG/AMP joint guidelines provide the basis for systematic and uniform interpretation of pathogenicity of genetic variants. However, the application of these in routine clinical interpretation at-scale has largely been limited by the lack of resources providing harmonized data especially at a population-scale.

Methods: We conducted a mixed-methods study including in-depth qualitative interviews of medical oncologists prescribing cancer drug therapy in India.

Cervical cancer (CC) is one of the highest prevailing causes of female cancer-related mortality globally. A significant discrepancy in incidence has been noted between high and low-middle-income countries. The origins of CC have been accredited to the human papillomavirus (HPV) with serotypes 16 and 18 being the most prevalent.

Breast cancer poses a significant global health challenge, with higher incidence rates in developed countries. However, low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) suffer from higher mortality rates due to various factors, including limited screening programs, delayed diagnosis and inadequate access to healthcare and advanced treatments. Approximately 5%-10% of breast cancer cases stem from germline mutations in -1/2 genes.

Harmonised approaches to interpret the results of genomic testing are needed to support physicians in their decision making, prevent inequalities in precision medicine and maximise patient benefit from available cancer management options.
Methods: The European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Translational Research and Precision Medicine Working Group assembled a group of international experts to propose recommendations for preparing clinical genomic reports for solid cancers.
Aims: In 2020 the UK Global Cancer Network (UKGCN) was formed to unite those in the UK interested in Global Oncology and to strengthen collaborative partnerships with stakeholders working across low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) in cancer health systems, governance, and care. The UKGCN undertook a mapping exercise to document collaborations to inform the UK's global oncology strategy.
Materials And Methods: A semi-structured survey was developed and disseminated using a snowball method over ten weeks from February 2021 across the UK's cancer community, to identify individuals and institutions engaged in clinical practice, research, and/or education with partners in LMICs.
Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (PanNETs) account for approximately 2% of all pancreatic malignancies. Several systemic treatment options have been developed over the last four decades, ranging from cytotoxic chemotherapy and octreotide to newer targeted therapies like sunitinib, cabozantinib, and lenvatinib. Although surgery or liver-directed therapy remains cornerstone for management of metastatic PanNETs, however, they remain unfeasible in majority of cases.

Molecular tumor boards (MTBs) aim to translate the complex data in NGS reports into effective clinical interventions. Often, MTB treatment recommendations differ from those in the NGS reports.

The Indian National Association for the Study of the Liver (INASL) first published its guidelines to aid healthcare professionals in the diagnosis and treatment of HCC in 2014. These guidelines were subsequently updated in 2019.

Serotonin can cause carcinoid syndrome and less commonly carcinoid heart disease (CHD). CHD is associated with increased mortality and requires a more aggressive approach.

There is an unmet need to enforce that cervical cancer is a "preventable tragedy," and vaccination is an invaluable way ahead. With this article, we hope to attract attention to translating India's successful COVID-19 vaccination campaign experience to developing the HPV vaccination campaign.

However, Fontan associated liver disease and combined hepatocellular-cholangiocarcinoma has not been previously reported. Combined hepatocellular-cholangiocarcinoma is a rare cancer that accounts for 2-5% of primary liver tumors and poses significant diagnostic and treatment challenges.

Financial toxicity of therapy must be considered in clinical practice and policy-making. One way to mitigate the impact of financial toxicity of cancer care is by focusing on an approach of healthcare delivery that aims to deliver value to the patient.
