Sinonasal Burkitt Lymphoma in a 2-Year-Old Child: An Uncommon Case Report.

Burkitt Lymphoma (BL) is a highly aggressive B-type non-Hodgkin lymphoma. It rarely develops at the level of the sinonasal cavities, especially in young children. We present the case of a 2-year-old boy who presented with a 2-month history of nasal obstruction, snoring, and epistaxis followed by a recent dyspnea.

Association between mean platelet volume and cardiovascular disease in obstructive sleep apnea syndrome.

Objectives: Obstructive sleep apnea syndrome is associated with cardiovascular diseases. Mean platelet volume has emerged as a marker of prothrombotic conditions and cardiovascular risk. The aim of this study was to investigate the association between the mean platelet volume and cardiovascular diseases in patients with obstructive sleep apnea syndrome.
