- A meta-regression analysis was conducted on 14 studies to investigate the long-term effects of common heart medications on SCAD patients, focusing on outcomes like mortality and hospital admissions.
- The analysis found that while higher aspirin use led to fewer hospital admissions for angina, most other medications did not show significant effects on long-term outcomes, and dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) was nearing a link with more SCAD recurrences.
