"I Don't Have to be Sick to Still Be Worthy": The Barriers Experienced by Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Survivors in New Zealand.

To identify the spectrum and nature of survivorship barriers experienced by New Zealand's adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer survivor population. In addition, we explore associations between survivorship barriers and sociodemographic characteristics, cancer type, and day-to-day happiness following the end of treatment. Participants were recruited for the online survey from AYA cancer service patient databases.

Early detection of psychosis: finding those at clinical high risk.

Aim: In early detection work, recruiting individuals who meet the prodromal criteria is difficult. The aim of this paper was to describe the development of a research clinic for individuals who appear to be at risk of developing a psychosis and the process for educating the community and obtaining referrals.

Methods: The outcome of all referrals to the clinic over a 4-year period was examined.
